I got to the last phase first try and got oneshot. Now the same thing happened to me 7 times and I am tired of it, especially bcs it takes forever to get to this stage... Sometimes I got hit by the red beams, but I swear most times I should have dodged them but still died. Feels like their area is much larger then indicated. Might try with a team and see if it's easier then.
These bosses just aren't fun to fight. Learning the mechanics is fun, but they have SO MUCH HEALTH! Even if a mechanic is easy to dodge, when you have to do it 100 times due to the boss's super inflated health, it's just a chore.
The boss designs are fantastic, and they’re a lot of fun to fight as they’re easily the best and most advanced boss fights of any arpg to date, however the difficulty and health pools of the bosses is the problem as it’s like dark souls level of difficulty, and feels like fighting a dark souls boss
i'm easily over 40 attempts today with my sorceress lvl 17 and i've only made it to the cloud second circle one time in all those attempts. Too many adds for me to fight in the cloud circle.
This boss was my first death, and then I kept dying over and over. Definitely a dumb difficulty spike. The boss can kill you in a single combo (at least with my class), but also has a ton of HP and takes too long to kill. It's way overtuned. Thank you for the guide though, the movement speed on the boots is probably the most important tip
Very challenging boss buT I had so much fun with this battle even though I died 10 times before beating him. Im playing as a witch and building up cold resistance to 40% plus using a shield (!!) as protection from his ads and spamming fire wall plus bone cage really helped.
THX for the mechanic explanation. But what if i don't have anything cold res? Endless farm of act1? Pretty underwhelming that i'm stuck on act1 because i'm unlucky as hell. Even in old games like Diablo you could buy everything from vendors to prepare for boss fight.Btw the tip to use global chat to find people to beat the boss with, is i think not that helpful. The community of PoE was always a toxic wasteland. And i have seen even here in PoE2 already people asking others to do bosses together, and all the time people were like: "git gut noob". :D
Watched my buddy pound this wall with his face for a solid 3 hours, He was VERY VERY close, witch, level 18 minion build. It's rough, his only complaints are the corrupted blood (Which is nasty to put at act 1) and the enemy minions life is just to high. reduce the HP on them, and remove the corrupted blood and this would still be hard as hell but at least almost fair.
Tried to do it with another player. Another player wont safe u from getting comboed by the bloodspikes. So no, other players dont help. Still couldnt beat the boss. Every one of his attacks does AOE

On the fog phase, as a witch, I can’t survive that mob. My minion was crashed after a few hit.
Even Dark Souls didn’t do this damn thing to me.

Yeah same as witch, pretty brutal, no corpses for my zombies to spawn so get stomped when he does the cloudy circle
Try equiping a shield, helps a lot with witch low HP

I have a lvl 17 ice Sorceress. I am struggling as well. I usually die once he adds the blood strikes during the third fog circle. It’s ridiculous

Finaly did him after like 30 tries, really help to find more cold resist gear! :) :D
When the honeymoon phase is over and 90% of the casual player left the game because of these BS bosses, GGG will nerf them to a halfway normal level!
I don't think cold resist does anything. I have 65% out of a maximum 75%. Can make it fine until the red death spikes.
The red death spikes do corrupted blood so the cold resistance won't do anything for those

does geonor have frost resistance in his wold phase? I swear I do 0 damage and Im a frost build
same i think it does so im now just stuck XD
well i got it down to 25% on the second fase but after that i just die by getting squished to death by the mobs in the fog fase

Took me about 10 tries but I finally got em after adding just 10% extra frost resistance. lets go!

Took me 17 mins to kill it as a warrior. And didnt even had a cold resistance charm. It killed me few times but decided not to go toe to toe with it

Did it in 2 tries in a group vs a few deaths solo, so yeah definitely.
