we got one brand new in 2007 !!! a limited model it was a dream to drive man i learned to navigate the highway in this baby .. everything worked great up until 2013 when the A/C went but we had just took a major rode trip and it was loaded to the brim with 6 people in it and loaded to the max .. but the self leveling suspension was phenominal as you didnt feel over loaded when you had a full load. the V6 was bulletproof .. STRONG and had a great sound. the 5 speed auto was smooth as well. Man i might get another one just for nostalgia
2008 xl-7 is a fabulous vehicle to drive, lot's and lot's of power and excellent drivability, it's a dream to own, don't pass up an opportunity to own!
The good old days when there were more automakers selling cars in the US...now these brands have either gone defunct or left the American market. I would love to see the current XL7 in America if Suzuki came back, including the SX4 Cross and the Swift.
@@t_q1799 if ever Suzuki comes back to the US, may this be their new and revamp lineup there: -XL7...............now as a fullsize SUV -Grand Vitara.....now a midsize SUV -SX4..............now as a compact SUV -Kizashi........now as a V6 midsize sedan -Swift sedan (a.k.a Dzire)..as a compact -Swift hatchback -Equator pickup -and a roadster (in the form of the all-new Suzuki Cappuccino)
My parents had an '07, over all really enjoyed it. The dealer we bought it from *cough* faulkner *cough* is a joke, but their suzuki division was (thankfully) purchased by Sutliff, which is where we had any warranty work done. Traded it in last year for a top end Impala which has had more wheel, tire, and alignment problems than i have gone through tires for my car... *6* in 5 years, but i dont rotate, nor do i have a feather for a foot.
Last gen XL-7 made in Canada in a plant owned by GM and Suzuki. The quad-cam V-6 is a GM motor (check the emission stick under the hood-yup, GM) as is the '09 6-speed auto. Rumor was on the '09 some had the direct-injected fuel injection, don't know that for sure; chassis was a stretched version of Equinox/Torrent (Epsilon chassis, not a modified car chassis). Not a bad design, detractors say it can't go off-road very well, but done right they are excellent...ask Jeep!
The biggest and best Suzuki of all time.....too bad....it died early 10 years ago. Should it still lived on, this will be Suzuki's answer to the following down below...... -Toyota Highlander -Honda Pilot -Nissan Pathfinder -Mazda CX9 -Subaru Ascent -Mitsubishi Outlander -Hyundai Santa Fe -Kia Sorento -Volkswagen Atlas -Ford Explorer -Chevrolet Traverse -Holden/GMC Acadia -Dodge Journey
How many miles do you have on yours? Mine is an 02 with 124K miles. Everything is fine so far, except for a clogged CAT but I'm almost certain it's because the dealer sold us a car that was involved in an accident, which lead to many problems. Even there, the car is still reliable. I am, however starting to get annoyed by the cheap, hard plastic throughout the car.
actually the tracker was the samurai...or later known as the vitara, then grand vitara...which were suzuki designed... the XL7 was ultimately just a stretched Vitara, gm had nothing to do with the XL7, the forenza was a Daewoo Lacetti designed by Daewoo

Me gusta mucho tu comentario, actualmente tengo uno, vivo en Estados Unidos, es un buen auto no le falla nada! Lo recomiendo!!
I prefer the XL7 over the 3rd generation Vitara. It seems nicer.
By the way you might not know but it’s the largest Suzuki suv and I love it it looks so nice

Couldn't agree more I have a lot of complaints but i can't seem to find a crossover as good
We have it its good but has so many ac problems
Suzuki and GM partnered up to make the XL7. GM designed the interior mostly
If Suzuki returns to the US....may this one be its first start
a flagship SUV based on the Toyota Highlander
given Toyota's alliance with Suzuki too

@@francocagayat7272 The Kizashi is discontinued, but the Baleno could be rebadged for the American market.

How many miles will it last?
Regular fuel exchange for every 100 km of the Sazuki Xl
Grand Vitara is by far the best small SUV in the market.
GM actually holds 45% from suzuki , which made the xl7 on the base of gmc accadia,
There is a huge GMC sticker underneath the hood of my Sazuki
Matthew Kilgore the xl7 is almost completely made with gm parts lol

amigos...friend...un consejo..que tal les han salido las suzuki xl7??🤔
Están bien, pero el motor es GM, no es japonés así que es un motor delicado y problemático 🤷
SX4 might be used by fiat,
but that car was desigent by Suzuki Japan..
is GM controlling suzuki now? because it has the same 3.6L V6 from the malibu, camaro, and equinox, as well as other "borrowed" amenities.
sx4 and grand vitara are suzuki own designs,
but forenza and xl7 are gm models..
Cuantos catalizadores lleva Suzuki xL7 Awd 2008
amigo y hasta con el apellido jajaja..que tal son las xl7?...
Suzuki the most salebale car in 2019 in india.
Ya I think ur right the nav looks gm! :P but... It is a diffrent car acording to the iihs! Yet I know it's made by gm the nav etc... look so gm!!
the suzuki is built on the same platform as the chevy equinox and saturn vue
the only thing that gave suzuki and edge was the use of thebody on frame design with out it I will just get a crew cab truck and call it a day
I love it!
Yup....I knew that. I was just giving some useless info, lol
everyone missing suzuki
R.i.P Suzuki....
In America....
Ok and the SX4 is a design that is used by Fiat..known as the Fiat Sedici. No disrespect, just thought I would share some Suzuki Knowledge.
