Thank you for this video! I have had this blender for several years but still have never used it! I know right!! I did want to say that you actually made a daiquiri using the rum in this video! To make a Margarita use need to use tequila! Again, thank you! You are an awesome demonstrator and I love your kitchen!
I'm so glad this video will help you! And yes, I did realize later that I said margarita when I meant to say daiquiri. LOL Stay tuned for more videos and be sure to join my recipe community too, facebook.com/groups/theflipflopchef

Mindy, Great Demonstration...Love It!!~How Long Does It Last Expiration Date???~~Where did you get your Milk Storage Bottles?
Thanks for watching! I bought them at Hobby Lobby. If you look on their glass aisle you should find them there. Wait for them to be 50% off too!
You made coconut milk. But what if you wanted to make coconut creamer (for coffee) would you just use less water to make it thicker or do something else?
Ah! I understand what you're asking me now. I am not sure how it would turn out but I always encourage people to try new things. If you try it, let me know how it turns out
Watching replay. If this is just available Sept 1st, why are there questions from 2years ago?
Hi Terry
I filmed this in 2019 so I was referring to Sept 2019 😊
I’m so sorry for any confusion. Please let me know if I can help you with anything.
I want the ice maker!
haha! We have moved since I filmed this and I miss that ice maker so much!!
AWESOME!!!!
Thanks Camille!
It I want to make coconut creamer for my coffee. Would I just do the same thing but with less water?
Hi Kellie, can you be more specific in your question? Would you do the same as which step? I"m sorry, it has been 4 years since I recorded this and I've made hundreds more videos since I don't know which part you're asking about. LOL
Make a margarita
Can this replace a food processor?
Penny Clapp hi 👋🏻 yes it can. The grind setting is great for using it as a food processor
Penny Clapp please feel free to check out my recipe group www.theflipflopchef.com and website www.pamperedchef.biz/mindymussell
Do you have a video using the custom heat feature?
Hi there, I actually do not. I've never used that feature since I always use the pre-programmed features.
@@TheFlipFlopChef ok, thanks!
Do I need to do anything before I use it for the first time?
Hi Tammy! Just run a heated wash cycle before you make your first recipe. Enjoy!
How do I get your recipes.
Barbara Adams I would love to share them. You can find them here www.theflipflopchef.com
How good is it at chopping hard vegetables for soups..ie potatoes, carrots...
Kandy Sinquefield do you mean to chop before cooking? We have a soup setting that will actually cook and purée for you
I am really on the fence about this blender. One thing I notice , which a lot of reviewers have noticed, is how loud the unit is. I noticed in the catalog that there is a replacement noise reduction piece. Does the blender initially come with a noise reducer?
Sarah this is actually less noisy than other brands because of the noise reduction plug. Blenders in general are not going to be quiet but the noise reduction plug does make it less noisy than other blenders.
did you say you have a cooking club with recipes
yes I do! If you click here you can join, facebook.com/groups/theflipflopchef
By any chance do you have a cream of Asparagus recipe for the cooking blender? I have a stove top one and am trying to figure out how to adjust to my new cooking blender. Thanks!!
Julie, I have not tried this but another consultant posted it: One bunch of asparagus, steamed, half a large onion, raw, a squeeze of lemon juice, 1 1/2 cups chicken broth and one cup of cream at the end. I don't think you need to steam the asparagus though.
Thank you so much
Where can I find the glass storage bottles you used to store your coconut, almond and rice milk?
Heidy M I bought them at Hobby Lobby! I love them.
Mindy Mussell Banks - Thank you! Also, I heard you say your website, but cannot find it. Is it typed in a certain way? Does it have dashes?

Barty Crouch JR. it sure does taste delicious though!
Can you make jelly also or just jam?
Brenda Harrell yes you sure can! I’ve made both and they are great. You can also make cranberry sauce on the jam setting!
@@TheFlipFlopChef What do you do differently for making the jelly? Like a red pepper jelly?
Brenda I have a recipe for pepper jelly here: facebook.com/groups/theflipflopchef/permalink/2536828959880551?sfns=mo

Jelly usually comes from fruit juice and jam usually comes from the whole fruit

Bourbon vanilla is harvested in the Bourbon Islands. Has nothing to do with the alcohol used to make it. ROFL
She used bourbon to make it. She wasn't referring to the Islands. It's a common DIY way to make vanilla extract.
