Thanks mortis this was a rough one to listen to but for mortis i thugged thru it bcuz as a former child church cult survivor its sad how something so good can go south little by little and in the end when you actually get back to normal life you look back and say OMG im just glad my parents were finally fed up up with the controlling "preaching" and finally up and left to this day i have mental problems but been seeking help n therapy theres up n down days but im still here im 34 now ❤️

I agree with the story of Scientology it took me three times trying to escape before I finally got the veterans affairs involved and they pulled me out of the cult it's a hell hole and I hope nobody ever gets stuck in the situation I was in it was absolutely terrible they brainwash you

The scientology story is a great example of how quickly brainwashing can start to take hold. If it's done effectively and at the right emotional state, it can be incredibly quick. People who arrogantly think they aren't susceptible to such things are often some of the easiest targets.
