Oh and about the collateral damage... Nothing I can really say about that, except that I don’t care too much about that fact. (Sorry for going on a rant CHasNya.)
The premise of this show makes me think of Robin Cook's 'The Wiz Biz' series, where a silicon valley programmer is summoned to a world of magic by one of the highest ranked 'Light' Wizards in order to deal with a deteriorating social structure, world state, and just general problems. Sadly, said Wizard is killed before he can explain HOW he's meant to help, making most people, including the man's forcefully recruited caretaker, a low ranking hedge witch, think the Wizard had erred in some way. It's only after learning a bit of how magic works that the programmer begins to understand WHY he was brought here, as the Wizard, who had been scrying for years, had discovered him as the one who could help invent an entirely new type of magic, mostly because 'Spells' on this world are very similar to programming languages for various computers, with the most complex taking the form of 'Demons', which are mostly magical constructs. From there, the series actually does a few things really well, as that's the premise(And not all of it), of the first book. Later books deal with things like how humanity of this world would start to use, and more importantly abuse, access to super strong spells that used to take decades to learn, but can now be cast via simple commands. Later e have evil programmers from our world, who want to conquer, learn of this magical world, and they have fewer morals than the Programmer or his friends. And of course then there's dealing with the other sapient races of the planet, and humans just went from endangered species to top of the food chain in what amounts to hours for some of their lifespans, and that's not good, especially since some of those non-human races are quite powerful indeed. Overall, it's a great set of books, with some fun stuff involved. Sadly, it's technically incomplete. The stories finish, each one, but the final book. Wizardry Quested, ends with the promise of more adventures to come, but Robin Cook never got to write anymore of them.
@@buddermonger2000 As my earlier comment said, I can heartily recommend the series. It does what few of these series are willing to do and show a balance to things. More need to remember that while sometimes a nice beat down is fun to watch, a good dramatic moment is good too.
The fact that Shin hasn’t made Nuclear Bomb spell annoys Me. Its pretty simple, and after all, His spells are made with the understanding of science, Atom Splitting is literally the “chemical reaction” of Nuclear explosions
Well we Americans made the atomic bomb so unless the Japanese got to blueprints their would be no way for him the make one let alone control the fallout that would happen

I liked that one too but my opinion with this show is the same with that one, but at least similar shows have been coming out to scratch the itch of no second season, at least for me.
So, this biggest reason why i like isekai anime where the guy has knowledge in science and is put in a world full of magic is that it makes me impressed to see how using this mystical energy that can be used to generate elements and stuff used in tandem with science to create stupidly op spells. Seriously he turned what would have probably been a simple fire spell, and made it into something much more explosive just with science. He managed to create a gate that allows him into two spots at once, though that would probably cause a lot of issues if Game Theory's the science of portals is anything to go off of. But we see him experiment with real world science and magic which is my favorite thing. The only downside is the fact that he has no common sense and lets his curiosity get the better of him. Don't get me wrong, curiosity is a great thing, as long as it doesnt have the potential power of a nuclear bomb.

Overall a great video and a really good summary of the anime.
While I liked Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy more than this show, I found it fairly good (after ep 1)👍
Like, I really didn't like ep. 1, but it became much more enjoyable as time went on (tropes aside)
Mainly cause of the vanilla-romance thing (which actually CAN progress), and the fact that they tried to make the side characters grow into stronger people (instead of the generic "we're always on the sidelines and not-helpful ever" thing)
Name
What is it called
Kurt doing EVIL pose
Gets slapped to ground
This show is actually good action packed with an actual romance that they don’t dance around for five-to-ten seasons
Nice Job Truck-Chan
The red eyes just make it look like they’re really high
this looks awesome
