Then, since your not in a rush; you decide to pay more attention to everything you pass. And by the time you get to your destination, it feels like you've taken a completely different route! It's a bitter sweet moment, because you're glad you actually stopped to connect with the world around you, but a part of you remembers a youthful time in your life when you didn't need to make a conscious effort to accomplish that. And you sit there wondering if that's one of the reasons you were always so much happier as a child. Because you had a natural instinct, curiosity, and desire to stop and smell the roses..and it was just..nice.
