I had this done several years ago. It cost me $800.00 in a high-end, popular salon, which included touching up my roots and providing the Remi hair. I found it was not at all what I was hoping for. The crimped metal beads were painful when I slept. I could not find any sleep position that didn't hurt. Beware if you dye your hair, it is very difficult to dye near the sewn in area. After about 5 weeks, I ended up having a hair dresser remove the hair and beads. She was aghast at how the beads had broken off chunks of my hair at the scalp line. For the record, she had been cutting my hair for years and knew the healthy condition it was in prior to this hair extension method. A couple of the beads were impossible to remove and they had to be cut off! The still-beautiful Remi hair was then turned into a halo hairpiece (by me) and it was the very best solution. No damage, no pain, remove at night, no tension on the scalp, etc. If you are going to have this sewn in technique, don't let them do the metal crimp beads. Have your own hair braided horizontally in a line to anchor the sew in weft to. Otherwise make your own halo hair piece with the same hair.
You poor thing. Sewn in wefts arnt for everyone. However they are better than braiding your own hair. As braiding causes more tension on the hair. I'm glad the halo has worked out for you in the end. Sometimes semi permanent hair extensions (like clipins and halos) can work best for some 😊
Thank you for your comment. There is a fine line between covering the natural hair and no going to high up on the crown of the head. If your someone with fine thin hair then hair spraying the top natural hair can help. As my client has fine frizzy hair I needed to cover as much of her natural hair as possible to give a seamless blend. She hasn't noticed the hair extensions being easy seen since she had them done almost 6 months ago.
How much is this service and where can I get it?! I’m a natural brunette but switch to blonde every now and then. I want to add extensions the next time I go blonde so my hair will look fuller.
Thank you for your comment. This client didn't want a colour service as she colours her hair herself at home. Some clients no matter what kind of advice and guidance you give them don't want to change :)
@@Paola11852 Your so right with the damage from hair extensions. This client had tape hair extensions (not done by us) and they had caused bald spots on her head as application wasn't done correctly and the tapes were to heavy for her natural hair.

Used to spend hundreds on wigs and bonds diy it!
Could you show in slow motion and closer how the beads are and where you sow from? Thank you kindly
Since cutting an undercut in my hair and slow growth i need this!i need to try this asap its kinda harder when you are doing your own though
Look up PU hole weft extensions. Similar concept but seamless, faster and easier install to do on your self.
Bellissima 💘
Do it myself 😊

Wow
What about the frizzy hair on top with the extensions being smooth?
Thank you for your comment. What do you mean in regards to the frizzy hair on top?
When someone has bleached hair, hair straightening is essential in the mornings with or without hair extensions in.
She's balding/thinning at the roots on top of or because of excess bleaching and hair looks frizzy on top...
Where are you from I need this done
Camberwell, Melbourne ❤

Hvor lenge varer det i håret?
Move up is recommended every 8 to 12 weeks, depending how quick the natural hair grows 😊
Think I would have worked on her poorly done color first.
its a protective style if she wants to rest the hair from colouring
@@gillianreyes-allen9524 Yep but the damage already done by wearing the extension ‘s..😳😳
That must be painful as well 😢
