I've never liked Apple since it came out that IOS updates were intentionally slowing down phones in order to "extend battery life". I feel it is just a ploy to get people to upgrade their phones.
@Vanessa Burns they don't purposely slow down their phones with software versions, they just stop giving out updates. 2-3 years is enough until the average person would get a new phone, Samsung usually lets out updates for 2-4 years until they stop updating them anyways.

Watching on my 256GB Space Gray iPhone 10. Yesterday I got 9hrs 49 minutes screen on time. No special settings. Took screen shots of the whole thing. Mind you! I know. Idk why ppl don't talk about this. Most features on the latest android updates are already on Samsung phones. Take a look at android Q for example. Some of the new features are already on the S10 and One UI. I rolled my eyes when this guy claimed One UI is overhyped. As someone who has used Samsung's UI since the S5, it's come a long way. Very clean, fluid and one hand user friendly.

The simplicity of iphone is amazing. Btw my S10 heats up easily, and I'm getting occasional app crashes and it stutters on heavy games. The battery life is okay but not impressive.
What phone doesn't heat up with heavy gaming. I had a xr and switched to an s10 and man I'm never looking back. iPhone is the move if you don't really care about technology and just want simplicity which isn't bad but you'll just be the same as everyone else. The s10 let's you make it your own
i had a iphoneX, S8, Note9 and now S10. Great Improvements across the board on every upgrade for me. Size i think now is perfect. I find myself not having to consciously unlock my phone as much now and the ability to charge my S3 gear and buds, means i dont need to bring additional chargers with me to. Super stability video, is awesome, wide lens is used a lot. 3.5mm jack still there, bonus. Only room for improvement is to make finger print screen reader, the whole screen, and increase reliability a little, increase security of face unlock, quest for a week on one charge is still ongoing but battery life is excellent 1.5 days for me.
I'm actually the other way around, had Androids for 10 years bashed every iPhone that came out, especially the X with that at the time ridiculous price of $999... but I also got tired of having to upgrade just to keep up with the new updates to the Operating System, so when my last Android screen got destroyed, I gave Apple a chance and grabbed a iPhone 6 (iPhone XS/iPhone XS Max had just came out) of course there were a few small things I had to get use to but after a few months of using it, I had no other issues other than I wanted to upgrade now I understood the Apple ecosystem, so I upgraded to a iPhone X I got for $500, best phone purchase I've ever made!!

I’m all about Samsung retaining the headphone jack. I used to be strictly apple pro big time until the past year and half as they have become a larger greedy accessories company than software company but I still use their products. I did just pick up the S10 6.1, note 9 and iPhone XR. I wanted another 10s but to large of a down payment as I’m revamping my entire mobile collection. Anyways having owned the 10s twice and now the S10 these two devices are incredibly different but if I were to choose off just premium feel the 10s hands down wins. That said I love my S10 as it’s my daily driver. Between these two it’s a really hard decision. I’m truly not sure which I would go for to be honest. I do think the S10 at 157g is too light.

My S8+ (about to be replaced by the S10 on Monday) has unbelievable battery life and it's 18mths old. I took it off the charger at 7.30am this morning. I checked emails and social media for over an hour, including watching posted videos. It's been pouring with rain all day, so I have literally spent from 10.30am to now (10pm) chrome casting RUclips to my TV as well as commenting on heaps of videos and doing some Internet searches. My battery just changed to 49%. This is fairly typical battery life, I'm usually down to say 30+% by 1am before putting it back on charge and going to bed.
i have an interesting perspective, if you buy an iPhone XS now, next year you can sell it as a second hand phone and with that money be able to buy Samsung S11 brand new! however if you buy S10 now, and sell it next year, you can't even buy a second hand iPhone of 2 years back. I would go for a S10. It has way more features and feels premium in hand, same like the iphone X, yet the S10 is cheaper right now. Also the S10 is really fast in processing like you can see in the Video. I really noticed it. The iphone X's software seems smoother and simpler. Its really easy to handle the iphone because it doesnt offer alot of features in my opinion, but i dont think you will have any problems with the android software, since you've always had a samsung. I always had a samsung too and yet the s10 feels different and new. This is my opinion on the s10 after using it for 2 months. I used the iphone x for 1 month and returned it to try the s10. :)

I'm actually the other way around, had Androids for 10 years bashed every iPhone that came out, especially the X with that at the time ridiculous price of $999... but I also got tired of having to upgrade just to keep up with the new updates to the Operating System, so when my last Android screen got destroyed, I gave Apple a chance and grabbed a iPhone 6 (iPhone XS/iPhone XS Max had just came out) of course there were a few small things I had to get use to but after a few months of using it, I had no other issues other than I wanted to upgrade now I understood the Apple ecosystem, so I upgraded to a iPhone X I got for $500, best phone purchase I've ever made!!

Nosky Imo there’s an adapter. You just have to pay $10 for one. Haha but it also helps with a couple other things besides listening. Honestly, I thought I’d miss the aux but I haven’t. I guess because I went towards wireless and only sometimes use wired.

I’m all about Samsung retaining the headphone jack. I used to be strictly apple pro big time until the past year and half as they have become a larger greedy accessories company than software company but I still use their products. I did just pick up the S10 6.1, note 9 and iPhone XR. I wanted another 10s but to large of a down payment as I’m revamping my entire mobile collection. Anyways having owned the 10s twice and now the S10 these two devices are incredibly different but if I were to choose off just premium feel the 10s hands down wins. That said I love my S10 as it’s my daily driver. Between these two it’s a really hard decision. I’m truly not sure which I would go for to be honest. I do think the S10 at 157g is too light.

My S8+ (about to be replaced by the S10 on Monday) has unbelievable battery life and it's 18mths old. I took it off the charger at 7.30am this morning. I checked emails and social media for over an hour, including watching posted videos. It's been pouring with rain all day, so I have literally spent from 10.30am to now (10pm) chrome casting RUclips to my TV as well as commenting on heaps of videos and doing some Internet searches. My battery just changed to 49%. This is fairly typical battery life, I'm usually down to say 30+% by 1am before putting it back on charge and going to bed.
i have an interesting perspective, if you buy an iPhone XS now, next year you can sell it as a second hand phone and with that money be able to buy Samsung S11 brand new! however if you buy S10 now, and sell it next year, you can't even buy a second hand iPhone of 2 years back. Put it simply, Samsung phones, drop in value too much too soon!

I'm having trouble deciding, I don't know which to choose either the s10 or switching to the iPhone. I have had Samsung for years but I have never had an iPhone. I do like what the s10 delivers but I still like to see what the iPhone can do? I need help deciding
I would go for a S10. It has way more features and feels premium in hand, same like the iphone X, yet the S10 is cheaper right now. Also the S10 is really fast in processing like you can see in the Video. I really noticed it. The iphone X's software seems smoother and simpler. Its really easy to handle the iphone because it doesnt offer alot of features in my opinion, but i dont think you will have any problems with the android software, since you've always had a samsung. I always had a samsung too and yet the s10 feels different and new.
This is my opinion on the s10 after using it for 2 months. I used the iphone x for 1 month and returned it to try the s10. :)
