I will never forget how cooking for them, or even offering to drive them did not help. My heart empathizes with you. I hope it wasn’t too hard hearing in terms of your twin.
@libralight She is. She reached out yesterday.❤️ Hard to say what happens, but intuitively, I think know. I always have. I have to try and see life from her eyes. And not from a place of anger or resentment or worry she will leave. She just needs me to be gentle with her heart. An addiction may honestly be easier to help someone out of than their hard wirded beliefs so its a mission. But Im going to try for her and not lose myself in the process this time.I've witnessed addiction in friends, so I know that side of the coin as well. It's just something that I know through experience the pain of watching someone, wishing you could save them is such a difficult lesson.
