this is so beautifully clear!! have you got any tips for sewing a placket out of corduroy? Is it even done?? I'm trying to do one but its just so thick
I've struggled with this for a while and after watching many videos, they are not as detailed as this one. I now see where I was going wrong... I was folding the fabric too far which meant they didn't sit right on top of each other. The patterns always seem to be very confusing too, usually with scant information (not good for beginners) Thank you for this video, I can now move on to the collar...wish me luck.

Mine is sticking out like a sore thumb, and I don't know how I'm supposed to fold it into the placket. Does it go in the first smaller section or the wider section? Thank you, Penny

My advice would be to not put interfacing in the seams. Happy sewing & thank you for watching 😊
