Hey! I've watched a couple of your videos and followed crochet patters. They are so helpful! I was wondering, how do I know how many increases to do depending on our size? I've always had trouble with sizing properly. Is there any video or chart that you know of to help me with sizing with any type of clothing as well?

Thanks for watching hun. 😊 No i do not know of any video or chart, but i will try to do a video on this topic, but you have to know how much of your crochet chain make and inch on your tape measurement when stretch, that is going to help you to know your Foundation chain. Your Foundation chain is your waist measurement, now you need to know your hip measurement and that's where the maths come in. For example : your waist chain is 132 and your hip chain is 156 and you want to do only 8 rows to reach your hip measurement. So make your Foundation chain of 132 then add 3 increase in (row 1) = to 135 add 4 increase in (row 2) = to 139 in (row 3) do not add any increase. In (row 4) add 3 increase again = to 142 in (row 5) add 4 increase = to 146 (row 6) no increase in (row 7) add 5 increase this time = to 151 in (row 8) add 5 increase again = to 156 now you have your hip measurement. If you make a swatch about 4-5 inches in the thread and stick your using…you can measure your row height to know how many rows to achieve your desired length…you can also measure stitches per cm or inch.then you can for ex say the difference from hip to waist was 12 inches and i had to do that in 6 rows that I needed to increase on, i would increase from my high hip to regular hip…if you multiply the # st /in or cm by the inches needed to increase..you would then know how many stitches you need then you can divide it by 2 for ex if your going to increase at 2 points…I hope this makes sense 😅😩and helps but this always works for me
