    I wonder what impact is on these spawning females. They are exhausted already and they get shocked and handled... you need a research team for that. Hope they don’t get harmed end up spawning not belly up.

      Fortunately It doesn't harm them. The biologist are very cautious, and the cooler temperatures also help protect the walleyes. If it did harm the fish they wouldn't tag them at this time of year. Thank you for the feedback!
