How bout the challenge menu system? I am having a hard finding that. Is it possible to change your daily challenges? I was wondering if they were going to reveal that when season 1 starts.
@@CreoVox I don’t have Xbox Live, so it doesn’t let me open the multiplayer menu. I have to turn my internet off on my console in order to access it. Kinda ridiculous
@@somedude2745 Nope, you have to play in "offline" mode. One error on my part is that the game never installed the campaign to begin with. You actually have to go in to each individual menu and download the items separately (campaign, multiplayer etc.)
Thank you for this. I haven’t been online with cod since advanced warfare. I was so lost navigating the menu. I’ve been playing the mobile version on my iPad, and it made me want to give this a try.
I can imagine new cod player having trouble navigating through this menu. Filtering game modes only works at Home Screen for quick play. Also once in quick play section (multiplayer screen) you cannot change the filter. You have to go back to the main menu to change it. Also it just shows the icons of what you selected. I could imagine people having trouble seeing which one is selected or not by just looking at the logos. Having to change to grid view to scroll down on your friends list is annoying. They really make you take extra steps when trying to do something pretty common in every other game. Menu Navigation is my biggest issue. I hope for consoles they got rid of menu animations so the consoles can take a breather when in the menu 😂.
yeah the menu system has too many sub menus and can get annoying or confusing in some areas. Its why I make videos like this going over something that might come across as simple, but you never know who might need help with navigation or just want to see what the layout of the menus. Now you can filter when in quickplay, just hit square if you are on Playstation (might be X on Xbox). As for scrolling your friends you can just hit the D-pad, but scrolling in general vs having a list is dumb imo.

0:15 in regards to you liking the "Filter" option on Quick Play, I''d like to point out as a computer user, it is NOT self-explanatory or user-friendly. On Xbox or PS, there's always a menu that's highlighted/popped out and you move through the game modes using the D-pad/Thumbsticks. However, on computer no modes are highlighted/popped out until you hover your mouse over the game-mode. This resulted in me searching the UI/Game modes for 5 minutes looking for Team Deathmatch (because you can't see the filter option on Quick-Play unless you hover over and closely look at it) until I eventually had to search online where to find Team Deathmatch. It was only then I realized that Quick Play had a filtering option, but I never saw it because it wasn't permanently popped-out highlighted like it is on consoles when you're navigating through the menus. There should be a multi-player category period, that has all game modes listed. As it's current design it very confusing. Because even once you filter the games you want, it doesn't change the fact that the icon still just says "Quick Play". It doesn't tell you what you're playing. Do you remember if you selected Team Death Match or Free-for-All? Oh you don't? Whelp, you've got to do some unnecessary clicking/checking your filters to double-check.
I completely agree the menu is so freaking bad after playing for some time after this video. The ui/ux team really dropped the ball on this imo. They have too many sub menus and navigation is confusing. And yes they should have just like you described. The og mw2 had no issues with ui so idk what happened here.

I was trying to figure out where gunfight went because I played it the day before, but it's not even an option anymore. This game sucks so much it doesn't even let the players pick what game mode to try out when they remove stuff off the menu.

I have the full X|S version installed and there’s no easy way to access Multiplayer. I can only easily access Campaign and Warzone. Luckily there’s a Multiplayer option under “What’s Hot” but when that goes away I’m not sure how I’ll access Multiplayer.
What if you hit the LT and open that side menu? That's another way to navigate. I'm on ps5 so I can't check for xbox side of things but even during the beta I was able to find it easily. You need to scroll down until you see ghosts face.

Last night was the first time I actually fired up the game but I didn’t realize you had to essentially go to the campaign mode to find the multiplayer mode. This is the first Call of Duty I’ve played in ten years so it didn’t make sense to me lol

Hmm that's definitely odd. Could be a bug, but I also haven't touched campaign since launch week so things might have changed. I can double check my ps5 version as it shouldn't be different per platform.

When you are in a party and with other people, it won’t let us play any of the quick play modes. Is there a way for use to access them?? Can’t seem to figure it out 😅
Weird. My friend and I were party up via lobby party yesterday no issues. We weren't in a voice party tho. Is that what you mean? If so the only fix I know of is using discord to talk.
@@CreoVox we were in the main menu, went into quick play but could not start to search for a match as we had to quick out 2 people (party was 3 total) almost as of those modes were only open to playing online solo and not with friends. We did have the mics on, but could that be the issue??
@@ivandiaz965 hmm no I don't think having mics on would be an issue unless someone was communication banned and preventing you from playing. Even that's a long shot. Try not being in a voice party and send invites to join game. You can also try having other friends in the game lobby be leader to see if its a hosting issue. Maybe someone has a strict nat type too. See if that helps.
In case you haven't figured it out yet, you have to filter out free-for-all, for some reason the party system doesn't just go, "oh, you've got >1 person... Alright lemme just slide this out then" and auto remove it

I don’t get why they didn’t add game modes like gun game, one in the chamber or infected. I would buy this game if they add it.
My buddy said they are adding them in an upcoming update but not sure when. Probably 2023 but yes I want party games so bad. I love gun game.
