I just learned hitting R disables the auto attaching of your transports... This is a great build, if only I didn't like my highly inefficient, aesthetically unpleasing build planning I'd make this
I have played this for several hours on my first map and I was not aware you could use F to flip..... Going to be doing some serious demo and rebuilding now.
Love your setup over the concrete mixers. I personally like putting a storage house directly on the output of the concrete powder producer and have the crusher feed into a double storage silo for crushed slag to the length of the powder producer. Thank you much for the build vid m8.
After careful consideration and deliberation, I have decided to like your videos and give you a sub. I appreciate all your hard work for the community thus far, and I hope to continue to see more videos from you. Your channel deserves allot of recognition and I hope it takes off more than you have already seen. Cheers Mate.
@@JDPlays Haha. Not at all. I’m a video content creator too just haven’t had the ability to do so as of late. I'm curious. I've seen a number of Sand + Cement videos for Concrete, and they all use the 1:2 kiln:mixer setup. I'd rather ask you, because so far I like yours the best of the ones I've seen. Why? All the research ratios as you progress closer to end game are 1:1 Kiln:Mixer. Even final game concrete is 6 bags in/60 6 bags out/60. I'm curious why isn't this a build once type of setup? The only final adjustment you make is swapping (as far as I can tell) is the fuel source and belt speeds.
Early game its 3 bags per Kiln and 3 Bags per Mixer Early mid game its 3 Bags per Kiln and 1.5 Bags per Mixer after you can add sand Mid game its 6 Bags per Kiln and 3 bags per mixer SUPER SUPER Late game its 6 bags per Kiln and 6 Bags per mixer, but that makes 192 Concrete Slabs. The highest consumer of Slabs is Construction parts 1, Which is a 1:1 That's 192 Construction parts 1 per minute, Or 96 Parts2 or 48 Parts 3 or 24 Construction parts 4 Per Minute. Not even I can spend parts that quickly, ALSO you Can't build the Mixer level 3 which is required for that late game 1:1 Ratio till you have parts 4 unlocked! Now you might spend a lot of slabs in retaining walls, at which point chances are you don't need a high production rate and pay the power, worker and maintenance cost of those buildings what you need is a large buffer. 1 Kiln to 2 Mixers ratio is perfectly find for the whole game, I upgraded mine to a 1:1 ratio late late late game, then realised that I didn't need them and paused half the build for the rest of the game.
@@JDPlays I see your point after some downstream effort. I've ran into some logistics issues in other places, and find I've just overbuilt everything and didn't keep up flow. What I thought was going to be a lack of concrete, which was my original issue, ended up being a lack of Iron ore and now all my forges are dead. I've begun a cascade of failure. I have found, though, I need to keep a supply of basic construction materials handy and NOT let my my Tier 2 and 3 construction components eat /everything/. Sometimes playing the game on too easy a setting lets you get away with things that should have been evident far earlier, I think. I needed to crank up the difficulty to see this before I'd spent far too many hours just humming along before the crash and burn.
Regarding storing cement, you could instead put a balancer before that last mixer with a priority output to the mixer, so that it goes to the storage only when there's an excess. That way you don't have to manually stop and run the belt to the storage.

I am curious if there is anything changed with the concrete update. Also, I prefer to use a double crusher set up to take rock->gravel->sand, because I end up with a lot of it from the iron, coal, and limestone mining.
I don’t understand I have 3 mixers and 2 of everything else and I’m at the end game and I’m still under 1,000 concrete. I will admit I have spent a whole lot of time trying to fix the issue but you would think I’d have loads of it. I have 13k in construction parts 3 some how things do maybe I’m getting enough but just using them really fast
blueprints are complicated, multi levels multi items uneven ground its not a simple process also its a 2 man dev team. Satisfactory has been in Early access for what 3 years now? and it doesnt have anything more than copy paste recipes which was a recent addition COI launched with that feature!

we all have to start somewhere my first build was also a mess, but with some patience and planning i came up with this much improved build

Cool didn’t know you can stack conveyers and pipes like this :-)
yep layers 0 to 3, so 4 tall but there are many rules for getting up and down and passing one another, expect a upcoming video on that!

I like my fluids coming out the front... It can be painful when they come out of the rear.
Lol I prefer that too haha
Another great build. Thank you.
My pleasure!

That is so beautiful and thanks for really explaining how to do it
Love your videos dude I'd be lost playing this game with out you lol
Thanks glad they are helping!

While I did have something set up already I immediately tore it down for this amazing build since it's very efficient and condensed
Thanks.
No worries!

Bro.... The F button changes everything. I must of missed that in the tutorials! wow!
Not to mention I was never merging connectors to conveyers like I was with pipes. I always been using the balancers to split. omg 🤣
Glad I could help!
Nice 👍
Thank you! Cheers!

the update doesn't effect concrete for the mid to late game, only adding bricks for the super early game
Do you have a tutorial on teraflops? Cause that’s what I need lol
Seems like you found it!

well I would expect you have used a LOT of them to make Construction parts 1, to make parts 2 to make those 13K parts 3!
8:00 Press "F" and it stops doing silly things :-)
We really need blueprints lol plus mods isn’t there gonna be mods? Cause if not I don’t see the game lasting very long
There are already mods for the game, have been since it hit EA!
amazes me that they havent made bp a thing right of the EA launch, this game is frustrating to build things by hand

700!
6 than 5 than 4 than 3 tiles... really ? than redo the whole thing again ?...
yep that one was hard to hit very hard to hit... I almost redid the whole video cuz of it lol
@@JDPlays But it's really efficient in the end. And better looking than what i had before. Thanks !
