He always intrigue me as a fighter world champ. I always wonder in a country filled with big ruggard men and land what are the requirements to be nurtured if so. Or if someone takes an interest in you how if any succeed without good support in the thing they excel at. Eric williams

@Marc.mizran Wladimir was the lineal heavyweight champ as he ruled over the HW divison for about a decade. They'll very certainly be in the books.

The brothers Klitshko gave to this exciting sports the category, class and respect that was lost years ago when others made of boxing a circus. Klitshkos have technic, professionalism and principles, they are intelligent and great example for the youth to follow, I am a big fan from Ecuador, girls also love boxing, Cheers

Wladimir is going to go down as one of the longest, and greatest heavyweight champions ever, for better or worse, he has always, in this last decade, found an effective way to win! And unlike Floyd, he doesn't need to practice his punching on women outside the ring either. Sometimes, the nice guy finishes first. . .

Thoughtful interview, incisive questions. The Guardian respected his intelligence. Most interviewers think they are just talking to a boxer. Klitschko holds an earned doctor's degree. He is a civilized man. Philistines don't get this, hence their rants.

Maybe Oscar? His english and Spanish are proficient but im pretty sure Wladimir knows 4 languages so...

I don't find it so surprising that this guy (and his brother for that matter) was a top athlete in his field, a champion, or that he is likable or pretty intelligent for a boxer. But to reasonably speak English and German as foreign languages...that is pretty impressive. Compare what you want with who you want, but show me another heavyweight champ that is reasonably fluent in 2 foreign languages...nah I didn't think so.

Even when you have a decent grasp on a language, you have to focus when someone's talking and that's why he always has that face. And when you speak it, you have to go slow and contemplate before you speak. He's a hell of a lot more peppy speaking Russian and even German.

I think we get back to old motif the heart of a champion. Eric to one of the fighters I artistically enjoy watching especially what my imagination assumed.

The problem wth both klitchko brothers is their colour !!! .....they will never get the respect that their dominance deserved ...lve followed boxing for over 45 yrs and a peak Wladimir would of beaten a peak any other heavyweight in history ....Tyson , Smokin Joe , Ali even big George and Larry Holmes were all tooooooo small to match them ....even the performance against Joshua actually cements his legacy because as a old fighter he had AJ in that 6th round !!
