I didn’t remember this game until my sister reminded me of it as she’d forgotten the name of it. So I looked up what she vaguely remembered and it was the weirdest feeling of such deep nostalgia. Like it brought me way back to being so immersed in this game I tried imaging what things smelled like, tasted like and felt like lol. Such a deep rooted, fond memory. Would love to play these games again, especially since I used to have such a hard time playing through them and may not have even finished them.
t seems Software Creations finally got a Rugrats handheld game right, as this game improves upon the flaws of the Game Boy Color games that were released from 1998 to 2000; levels have the simple "Get from Point A to Point B" objective without requiring a certain number of hidden objects, the human ladder move can help the babies easily reach higher places, the babies have a means of defense against the enemies in the form of edible ammunition, and each level ends with a boss battle against Angelica. The first five levels can be played in any order the player chooses, and the sixth and final one is unlocked when the first five are completed.
This game is only bad in the sense that it looks boring as heaven. It is a gameboy, probably fun if your on the move. Graphics 8/10 given your playing babies in a baby imagination, the graphics look pretty good. Loses 2 points for reusing stuff. Gameplay 1/10. I mean look at it. Nuff said. Has 1 point because there are vastly worse games. Replayibility 0/10. Nottin 'ere boss. Looks boring to even play the first time. Music 5/10. Its ok music, gameplay ones feel generic and one of them even i recognise. Has the theme tune too.. In short. Well the artists worked hard. The developers clearly fell asleep.
