I always find it interesting, that people who have never been alone, find this to be a lonely existence, and people who are used to being alone, find more than 10 people a crowd. To each his own right? Great video 😃
Ya, some people are afraid of going alone, as if alone and lonely are the same LOL, they obviously are not. Being bored, well, thats different. But..Boredom in wilderness is a beautiful thing to experience always some thing to explore.
I drove OTR for 27 years. I was asked all the time, How do you do it all alone? I think some people are cut out for it and others are not. You have the best of both Worlds, You can choose to be around People or choose not to be. Perfect Lifestyle in my Opinion. Travel Safe...
I'm sure people don't realize how much you put into your filming and editing. I looked away for a second, and came back to your drone footage and thought a Dept. of Tourism ad clicked in! Beautiful videos, Brian, I feel like I'm there with you.
Yep! When I grow up, I want to be a van dweller just like you Brian : ) It's no surprise you made RUclipss top 100 van video list. Great videos deserve recognition!
I find your “spots for temporary living” very inspirational and a pathway for creativity! So envy that! What a connection with nature and even yourself.....just simply time to think 😊
I just watched your last five videos with my morning coffee. It took some self restraint to wait for five, but was so well worth it. You have a serene vibe that comes through your videos. Thanks for sharing your adventures!
You always do the best videos. This is why your my favorite out of them all. After meeting you at RTR I knew you were the same person off camera as you are on camera. Not all you tubers are like that. You are down to earth and very humble. Never change. That is a quality that is like gold. Stay safe .
We are in Craggy Wash too in our Scamp! Been watching your videos for a while now, man. Love seeing what you cook! We’re up on a hill about half a mile closer to the highway than you are. I’ve taken my little shiba dog on a walk past your camp several times now without having any idea, hah. Glad you’re enjoying your time. It’s beautiful here!
I'm experienced on the water. I think all you need is an inexpensive blow up kayak. I'm talking $75. It will be easy to store and use. You can get them at any sports store or online at Amazon or Walmart.
People that think this is lonely are not comfortable with themselves and need to find more enjoyment in the little things that make life great ! Have fun
I am so glad you are adding your flute playing again on your videos. I missed it. I like listening to you play. I don't find your travels lonely, I enjoy your videos as they show us the places a lot of folks who need people around all the time don't show. Keep those videos coming Brian!!!!! We will keep watching.
OMG it has really changed every where, it's been 20 years since we've been. What a great video you've captured such wonderful views that no one else has seemed to!!! Thank you very much Brian!!!
Definitely get a kayak. I got one last year and it's been so much fun! It was just a super cheap one ($177) from Dick's Sporting Goods. Highly recommended.
Brian, I am so envious of your lifestyle, the freedom, minimalism, adventure, and stress free or reduction that you enjoy. People can have all the materials things in the world, but if they are not happy they are lonely on the inside.
You camera eye is awesome whether city or in the wild or in between especially with the drone.Love the campfire wish it was longer..as always enjoy your videos showing your adventures........Continue to enjoy it out there.
Camped at the next wash up the road a few weeks ago. Beautiful place, and the beach around the lake was beautiful. I saw so many dogs too. What a great place.
Brian you have the life I am dreaming of just 3 more years to my retirement and I will be doing this life style I just can't wait but for now I have to enjoy it through your videos thanks for providing great videos take care, oh I almost forgot to mention it you defiantly need a kayak they are so much fun
Brian, I am truly enjoying your videos. You are really giving me that motivation to at least go camping. Being African American, camping is something that we didn't grow up doing, but now that I'm in my 40's I would like to change that. I'm so envious of your life. So relaxing. And omg I love your cooking videos. Going to try the cast iron pizza. Thanks for shearing.
I really like your videos. They inspire me and provide knowledge. I set out for a workamping job in Montana in May so all the little tips I am learning are great! Thanks.
1. Hey Brian; have enjoyed tremendously all of your videos in chronological order. Thank you for sharing your many gifts and talents. Great idea (among the many) on the pvc tube. No wonder you were named Brian as if you scramble the letters it spells Brain. Here is a quote from one of the many life gurus “People think being alone makes you lonely: however, being surrounded by the wrong people is the loneliest thing in the world.”
Thanks,I just put that on my list. I Think your right not everyone is At the same place along there journey through this life. Most folks are in pain inside it's funny to see people in vacation mode when your like that. I think we forget how hard it was as to learn to be friendly and heal. So be kind , Thanks for sharing the love and showing us the way brother.
I love Lake Havasu. Many fond memories camping and boating there when My kids were small. I like the pvc pipe trick to keep the shower suction hose primed.
Brian, you have found the ideal lifestyle with balance between being on your own and finding friends to spend time with when you want/need that. I love your life and plan to do the same thing when I finally get on the road this spring. You are an inspiration for sure.
Dunno how anyone can give you a thumbs down Brian on your vids , there is always at least one eh? ;) Love the drone shots of LH and shower setup , just great stuff!
Hey Brian have you ever been to Havasupai Falls it's near your location on the Indian reservation. It's the most beautiful turquoise water falls and swimming holes. You should check it out I would love to see a video of you there, it's one of the things to go see on my bucket list. I love every thing your doing! keep up the great videos.
What's up buddy, I seen in one of you'r previous videos that you visited Benton Kentucky. I live and own Five Acres in Morning View Ky, about Four hours from Benton. I just wanted to extend an Olive Branch you'r way, if you ever need a place to store something while you'r on the road, fill up you'r Water, or need a place to stay for a while, you would be more than welcome to do so here. Maybe next time you'r in town, we can meet up and camp for a night or two. I know a few really cool camp sights around here. In closing I just want to thank you, for quite some time I have found myself in a deep Depression, and you'r videos have not only inspired me to seek out Adventure, but have given me a Clarity that seems infinite. Stay safe on you'r Travels my friend!
I'm with you, I wouldn't feel lonely by myself the only thing that would make it perfect for me would be a horse. Of course a horse is a lot of work but so worth it, I sure miss the days when I had mine. Anyway I loved the video.
Me too! I have a few horses and cannot leave them behind so not able to travel like this for the foreseeable future, and don't think I'll ever give them up so... Sacrifices, sacrifices, but well worth it. In the meanwhile, I'll live vicariously through Brian and other videos. I'd like to do some horse camping eventually, but not sure I can do it alone at least at first. Maybe if I can meet up with more experienced horse campers to learn from. I know of a few places in CA that have horse camps on National Forest lands. My animals are my therapy. Can't go for long without them!
I'm not sure if you were thinking of me, but I'd recently mentioned or asked if you weren't lonely at times. I guess most of your videos are of you, alone, and I failed to realize you do interact with others you meet on the road even if you don't show it all the time. And yeah I can't argue with you--if you don't love what you're doing, you can still be lonely in a room full of people, so I'm glad you clarified that for me! Safe travels!!
Hoping I can do the same hopefully soon, living in Phoenix Arizona year round, working 13 hrs a day (only 4 days a week) been doing this for 30yrs, just bought my 1st van (mini van) 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan
Rotary Park is my favorite place to hang out in Havasu. I love walking the trail around the channel to underneath the bridge. Gorgeous area. And it's free making it even better!
Hi Brian I find your channel very interesting and very informative all the information can be used for your type of living but also in all parts of life with people, talk about loneliness it’s what you make of it, I just Met a guy name Randy from the East Coast at the Parker 425 Race in Arizona and found out he’s living in his Honda Element for the last 7 months, I started talking about your channel and also the RTR he was surprised I knew anything about it so Brian keep up the good work and I’ll keep watching thanks , from B W.
🇬🇧Some beautiful landscapes Brian. I'm with you on the lonely thing. When I'm out there amongst nature I never feel lonely as Johnny Cash said 'there's always one more path that I can walk. There's people I can sit down with and talk. and somebody might appreciate the flowers that I bring There's always another song to sing"
I love that part at lake Havasu. During the hot months when we take our boat we pull up along the side in the channel and swim. The rope off means no boats pull up in that area and it's a bit safer since its a party scene during the summer
Great video. We're going to have to see that lake in person. Yes, you need a kayak we enjoy ours thoroughly and I would love to see the perspective from "on" the water.
When we are comfortable with ourselves we can never feel lonely, in fact the less people the better. Just my belief. ✌️
I always find it interesting, that people who have never been alone, find this to be a lonely existence, and people who are used to being alone, find more than 10 people a crowd.
To each his own right? Great video 😃
NoProGoPronto couldn’t agree more 🙏🏼
SummeRulz ~ I checked it out. Beautiful song. Thank you 😃
Ya, some people are afraid of going alone, as if alone and lonely are the same LOL, they obviously are not. Being bored, well, thats different. But..Boredom in wilderness is a beautiful thing to experience always some thing to explore.

Your positivity and joy are contagious, you influence more people than you know!

I have always felt that to be truly happy you must first find happiness in yourself....🙏🏻🙏🏻
I'm just young I can't even drive yet but been watching you for about a year now and really wanna get into van life.
Simply the best in RUclips nomad videos!
👍🇺🇸 loved the way you solved that water tube situation. Safe travel😁🇺🇸
I'm sure people don't realize how much you put into your filming and editing. I looked away for a second, and came back to your drone footage and thought a Dept. of Tourism ad clicked in! Beautiful videos, Brian, I feel like I'm there with you.

Great videos deserve recognition!
Just love all these little vignettes of your day-to-day life. Great editing putting it all together. 👍
I find your “spots for temporary living” very inspirational and a pathway for creativity! So envy that!
What a connection with nature and even yourself.....just simply time to think 😊
this video is some of your finest work i'd say …. cooking, traveling, day to day … and then the fire … nice one brian
If you're lonely when you're alone, you're in bad company. Jean Paul Sartre
Damn it Brian! Your videos seem to almost always put me in a hypnotic trance. I like it!
I just watched your last five videos with my morning coffee. It took some self restraint to wait for five, but was so well worth it. You have a serene vibe that comes through your videos. Thanks for sharing your adventures!
Very good commentary on what defines loneliness.
You always do the best videos. This is why your my favorite out of them all. After meeting you at RTR I knew you were the same person off camera as you are on camera. Not all you tubers are like that. You are down to earth and very humble. Never change. That is a quality that is like gold. Stay safe .
I like watching the fire, please film it for a minute or two.
Me too!
At the beginning it looked like you were on the red plant Mars. Top notch shower setup. Tranquility Lifestyle .
Good, I ate before watching. Just two slices of bacon? You have self control Brian. I didn’t expect Lake Havasu to look so good.
Beautiful opening with views and music and...that drone! Lovely...thank you for sharing.
Dude, I'm camped right by you just past mile 3. I thought that was your new van but missed you at the RTR so wasn't sure. Small world.
I'm experienced on the water. I think all you need is an inexpensive blow up kayak. I'm talking $75. It will be easy to store and use. You can get them at any sports store or online at Amazon or Walmart.
I love 💕❤️💞 your channel. Thanks for sharing ✌🏿

Another great video thanks again for sharing your adventures with us, I truly enjoy watching 👍🏾
It's amazing to me how you can leave your camp and everything is there when you get back! Maybe you could do a video on that!
I don't know why but I love the sound of the wood making the clunk clunk clink sound, nice relaxing video.
Outstanding opening sequence!
You camera eye is awesome whether city or in the wild or in between especially with the drone.Love the campfire wish it was longer..as always enjoy your videos showing your adventures........Continue to enjoy it out there.
A most pleasing day. Thanks for sharing and for giving joy.
Camped at the next wash up the road a few weeks ago. Beautiful place, and the beach around the lake was beautiful. I saw so many dogs too. What a great place.
Love the breakfast into... look forward to it every video...👌🏼
Beautiful desert colors.
Thnks for the vedio. I loved all the placea and had been there a couples time and never bored to go there again and again..
It would be awesome if you had a kayak, but where would you put it? :) Love this video, the drone footage over the canal was beautiful.
I have a canoe but it will cover the solar so i don't plan to take it but it would be nice if i can figure something out.
Good idea with the PVC tubing Brian.
Brian you have the life I am dreaming of just 3 more years to my retirement and I will be doing this life style I just can't wait but for now I have to enjoy it through your videos thanks for providing great videos take care, oh I almost forgot to mention it you defiantly need a kayak they are so much fun
jay kay x2 on the kayak!
Much enjoyed Brian, thumbs up...
Man you had me thinking so hard about the inflatable kayaks. So I brought one ... ! Do it. They are wicked and dont take up much room.
yep they are nice they just take a while to fill up all the compartment on mine at least
Nomadic Society mines not to bad. A solid 5 mins pumping. I have one of those two way flow hand pumps. So on the up and down stroke it’s pumping air.
Brian, I am truly enjoying your videos. You are really giving me that motivation to at least go camping. Same way I did the tubing to my water tanks in the van. Looks like a nice spot! Enjoy!

Genius PVC remedy on the shower water supply. And, yes, get that kayak!
I love Lake Havasu. Many fond memories camping and boating there when My kids were small. I like the pvc pipe trick to keep the shower suction hose primed.

beautiful stuff dude, great shots of the area, definitely a have to go to on the list!
Smart idea! Putting the flexible tube into the rigid tube making sure it reaches right to the bottom.

Wow, your videos are just getting better and better! This might be one of my favorites! Excellent job. 👍👍
Just after 7am today we pack up and head west. Thanks for the road view of the wash I can get in there. Love what you do keep on by all means.
Rotary Park is my favorite place to hang out in Havasu. I love walking the trail around the channel to underneath the bridge. Gorgeous area. And it's free making it even better!

Wow, quite the contrast of the lake area and your camp. Excellent video. You definitely need a kayak or canoe, you are drawn to water.
London Bridge - on my list.
Thnx, Brian, for the beautiful video.
Brilliant solution to that shower hose problem. 👍
Beautiful lake. Your skillful with that axe. Thanks for the excellent video!
Thanks for the awesome video
You nailed it about the loneliness. I meet many people in our few outings. You get to choose. Awesome job Brian! Oh, and the intro tune RAWKS!!!
