I was waiting with bated breath - to see how you de-pan this lovely creation! But we went straight from creation to the final plated cake! I struggle with getting things off the bottom of the springform pan- and onto the serving plate ! I appreciate that you cook and bake in Canadian measurements, with some imperial and some metric quantities! Oh Canada! Lol

Could we use your chocolate cake as the cake layer base for this torte instead? I'm going to be making a chocolate tres leche cake with Biscoff cookie butter mixed into the milks and the whipped cream for Christmas dessert. 😋 Happy Holidays!

Whipped cream is definitely NOT traditional to tiramisu. Maybe some tourist trap restaurant in Italy that’s trying to save a buck, but no restaurant worth anything puts whipped cream on a tiramisu. Now you are making a interpretation so do what you want, but NOT TRADITIONAL.
