I can watch these 99 Grand Prix/ 2017 Mustang swap over all day long. Just Incredible. I have a 99 Grand Prix GT coupe ,I bought new over 24 years ago. Completely stock. But I love this transformation here.
Yes always thought when the NASCAR version of anything is RWD it should have been required to make the street version RWD as well, wasted potential look at the Pontiac GTO/ Holden Monaro almost same body but RWD from the factory.
This is may favorite body style since the 68 GTO, I’ve wondered and questioned how to make it rwd. Thanks for the hard work and inspiration, looking forward to see what happens next.
Just lost mine last year due to a hit and run. Good to see your still doing your thing with the GPs. I ended up finding a Challenger, no where near as fast and as ballsy as my GP was, no joke. Good luck with the project!
Just found your channel from a FB post. Ive been a W body guy since i got my first car at 15 in 1999. Its an 1989 Cutlass Supreme 2.8l. I still have it and a L67 im going to swap in someday. Now looks like it may be RWD!!! Thanks for the awesome content!
Man I'm glad I found your project I have a 2005 boneville gxp that I have been wanting to rwd swap and I'm considering putting my 94 lt1 t56 combo init should make around 400-450 wheel I like the idea of being different by using the Lt1 I had been debating on using the rear end out of my firebird but this opens a whole new perspective! Killer build!! I have been trying to get caught up watching this series
That's so crazy bro! Wow. Awesome stuff in this video man. I can not believe how that thing lined up man!🤯 Nuts. Makes me think totally different about car building and fabricating. There is so much rivalry but so many similarities. My daddy always said if it ain't broke don't fix it🤷🏾♂️
Wasn't passionate enough about that project to continue it. Not currently in a position in life to be producing swap kits at this time. I may revisit the topic to supply people with the info they need to do it themselves. I mentioned this in a couple of the videos I've posted. I apologize for the change of direction here on the channel.
@@AutoTechTyler I'm with you on that one bud I've made and done a lot of projects and sometimes there's just not as much interest as you figured there might be. I'm still continuing with the 4t80e in w body, swap brackets. but I definitely know where you're coming from wanting to work on your stuff. I've never done any of the research but I'm guessing the newer cradles Mount similarly to the old Terminator Cobra IRS stuff from the foxes? They seem to have no problem getting the new IRS to hook up at the tracks that's for damn sure. Front wheel drive sucks sometimes
this is wild! seems to be going way smoother then your first RWD build can't wait to see the finished project

Love this body style, however I always wished it was RWD

You should fab up plate adapter kits and sell them.

Love me some RWD conversions!
That's pretty cool that things are slotting up in there so nicely. Looking forward to the next update!
Loving this build! Owned a couple of GTP 4 doors but rust got them before I could save them. Best wishes to you on this project
Looking forward to seeing the progress on this!
You making that plasma cutting look to easy!😁

Very smart young man👍🏻👍🏻
I’m so excited to see this thing finished man, you have no idea😤🔥
When you have time , I’m ready lol
This is a cool project. Be wild to do this to a Ford. Like a 1998 Taurus.
That’s F awesome bro! Definitely looking forward to the next video
Now let's hope the front suspension fits as well as the rear.
Doesn't look like it'll be too awful, but we're going to find out!
The pontiac bolt pattern same as the mustang?
My question precisely
This is just awesome 😎
Keep er going
PS the apostrophes are on the wrong end
I have a question for you its out da blu , this is a crazy build btw , but what happened to the 5speed gxp build

That would never happen for me I promise!😂😂
Is this going to be another manual grand prix
You think that I could use a crown Victoria suspension to make it rear wheel
Hey man any idea how similar the underbody’s are compared to my 07 Monte Carlo SS? Just curious on if it’s plausible to use the same mustang rear end
Exact same. All w bodies after 97'ish are exactly identical underneath. All the way up until the last one.
@@AutoTechTyler oh shit so it’s the exact same?
Liked subscribed commented thumbed up your channel?
This just proves that ford steals GMs designs. They probably just modeled the new mustangs off of the w-body
Let’s gooooo 🦾😎
