I like coming back to this from time to time. We are now a week away from the 2022 season opener, and I just wanted to come back and reflect on how far we've come. Trey, it feels like I bonded with you in this walk-n-talk. You said a lot of things here that we were all thinking and feeling.
Trey thank you for speaking what the fans feel. We complain, we are mad, but in the end it’s because we care. We don’t have another large in-state school, we don’t have an NFL team, all we have is the Razorbacks. The fans, players, and state deserve more than what the program is currently delivering.
LOL -- Just had to get some perspective right now being in Week 12 of 2020, where we should rightfully be 4-3 with the only legitimate losses coming against #13 Georgia, #5 Texas A&M, and #6 Florida (current rankings). Love watching Trey too because he reacts the EXACT same way when it comes to seeing this program struggle. I'm SOOOOOOOOO damn grateful for the job that Coach Pittman and company are doing right now, and of course continue to love the content that HawgSports puts out. I'm a longtime listener of 103.7 The Buzz as well, so I've been a fan of Trey Biddy's perspective for many years now. I'm supremely confident in this coaching staff, just from what we've seen so far with this immediate turnaround even. We've obviously had the talent to compete in the SEC despite Chad Morris not being able to get it done with back-to-back 2-10 seasons. It's a night-and-day difference when you look at how these players are responding and buying in right now. We're already competing at a level which has us right outside the Top-25, even with a 10-game SEC-only schedule that includes about EIGHT preseason ranked opponents -- three of which are legitimate Top-10 caliber teams in those that we lost to so far. Regardless, I think we're in excellent hands right now, and it's just a matter of time. #WPS
And just checked back in again 10 months later as #8 Arkansas is now 4-0 heading into Athens to face #2 Georgia, where College GameDay will also be this weekend! It's SO damn good to be a Hog fan right now. #WPS

It is interesting viewing this in 2022. I see that KJ Jefferson and Treylon Burks were in this game. It's amazing what a different coach and 2 years can change.
is this the same Western Kentucky team that lost to Central Arkansas on August 29th of this year ? I'm guessing that Ty Story did not start or play in that game .
Story came back to haunt us. Plain and simple. This should tell ALL coaches that if you have a good quarterback like Story YOOOU have to work him into a great quarterback and the first thing you do is BELIEVE in him!!!!!!!!!!!
As a Longhorn fan that lived in Arkansas for about 10 years, I have two thoughts. 1-due to the competition of the Arkansas and Texas programs, I always rooted against Arkansas for the trash talk that ensued with my Arkansas friends. I used to hate that Arkansas was NEVER out of a game. They made seemed to average 1-2 miracles a season (ole miss and Hunter Henry). There was an incredible fight that was inspiring in the Razorbacks year after year. 2- I can empathize with you and have a tremendous appreciation for your frustration and pain. This year, I found your videos and have watched them each week. The Longhorns I love seem to be so distant when Colt left and took Longhorn domination with him. Watching you has turned me from a Razorback "disliker" to someone who feels for fans and players dealing with a tough season(s). A true fan of any team will recognize another fan's love and respect it. That has actually made me root for the Razorbacks. If nothing else, competitive games make football better than all the other sports. Today the seniors deserved a win and a time to shine. Was it time to put in the newer qbs, or should Hicks have received another chance? The reason for that question is, what message does this send to your current veteran leaders about the remainder of the season? Good luck, and I hope it is a good game when they renew the Texas vs. Arkansas matchup in a couple years. Keep doing what you do sir, you are one of the greats!
One Name for replacement. Matt Rhule. Has Texas Ties and has proven to turn two programs around Temple and Baylor. He took Temple from 2-10 to 10-3 and he has taken Baylor from 1-11 to currently still undefeated....9-0. I dont know if the razorbacks could get him, but I would go after him hard!!
One coach they should have kept was the strength and conditioning coach Ben Herbert who went to Michigan. The players now seem to be very weak against other teams which is from the strength and conditioning program Arkansas has now. And when you look at Arkansas practice you hear this loud music blaring which does not help the players to concentrate and to learn. Chad Morris seems to want a nightclub practice for his players and seems to want to be their buddy instead of a hard nose, tough as nails football coach like Nick Saban who has his players respect. Bobby Patrino was a very tough and feared coach and his practices were hell and that's one reason he was winning.
in 2022, this video makes me feel so happy i love pittman, he is someone who understands hawg sports. glad boyd moved on to allow a better rb core to come play
Us Vol fans can relate probably more than anyone in the country. It’s tough. You want to give a coach time but you also grow impatient. Coach Pruitt has our team improving but if we don’t see significant progress next season we all know what will happen. Hang in there Arkansas
I don't disagree, but this is what happens when you let the board of trustees hire a coach. Should've hired Yurachek first, and then let him make his hire.
Trey you're right this is not what rebuilding looks like. This is a teardown without the know-how and parts to get it back together again! Great performance and execution from Ty! Good for him. I have thought all year that these other two guys they brought in we're no better than Ty. Looks like they are way worse and it's up to our freshman now. No matter who we have at QB we still need a staff that can help him Excel. Simply put we seem to have a staff that needs to pull their heads out their a$$e$. They are terrible, they lead us to a loss every weekend. They get millions of dollars they still feel like they don't need to give you straight answers at the press conferences. If you can't win at least answer some straightforward questions.
Drove up for the game - First one since last year. We had a great time being there with hope of a win. Pre-game was fun. By the 2nd quarter, everyone was pissed at Chad. They wanted him fired at halftime (LOL). His job has got to be hanging by a thread if fan opinion is worth anything. Hanging Chad should be his new nickname (job hanging by a chad). Overall, we did have a good time at the game, but small crowd, which had some advantages, no lines at food places, and no traffic.
We have come a long way since this rant. Hogs are preseason #7 for next season, some have even said a Dark horse for CFP! I can see it. All the tough games are in Faytown! So, we'll see. Pittman has breathed life in to the program again. Not only that, Pittman is quickly turning the Hogs into a BEAST! IN retrospect , Ty Storey was a hero! Definitely poetic justice.
Who’s here after the Tennessee game hopefully these types of walk and talks are over with I mean we gonna lose some games but let’s hope we never ever get back to these football days

Yeah, I thought that comment about Rakeem Boyd was ridiculous. Did he mean that Boyd was scoring too fast and wasn't controlling the ball enough? WTF? Boyd ought to sue the coaching staff for non-support.

0:57 watching this 2 years later. Man this video aged well💯💯
God it feels good prior to the 2022 season coming back and watching this.
If fans complain about Arkansas not making it to Atlanta or not competing for a CFP National title, they need to watch this and be grateful they are winning again and making the post season, I wouldn't care if 9 - 4 is the best pittman can do, I'll take a 9 - 4 season any year. I honestly hope we can keep pittman longer than 5 years than we did with bielema
Here after the Alabama game on 11/20/2021, we came a long way and still going! You called KJ as the future btw.
Chavis should be ashamed of taking money , with the product he putting out there on defense 😒😒😒😔😔😔
Whatcha mean?......he's no different than your average politician, promise the moon..........deliver...more promises!😭
Brett Robinson Lol 😂 he should take a reduce then because the results trash lol 😆
@@philliphortonRanger501 Only if you look at it from Arkansas ' point of view. From an opponent point of view.... a Chavis defense is like a sack full of stat goodies from Santa!🎅
Brett Robinson this is facts lol 😂 it’s hurts my soul that Razorbacks are this trash 🗑 lol
Multiple sources have said that Chad is gone. Not confirmed yet
Where these sources came from
👌
@@smokintempt909 It appeared on some twitter feeds from some media people, Biddy being one of them. BUT....from sources I know that would know, Morris might be taking a lump some of his contract to step down as the coach for help looking for employment at another school by Yurachek.
@@KingofDiamonds85....ok thanks
Tomorrow will be 4 years since this video was made
That's just what they would be expecting us to do. Best line from this channel ever.
It is interesting viewing this in 2022. I see that KJ Jefferson and Treylon Burks were in this game. It's amazing what a different coach and 2 years can change.
According to Randy Rainwater coach is fired and Lunney to be interim coach. W b announced tomorrow
Josh Crow Did RR says that on the post game radio show?
Seriously???
@@itsgoingdown1974 Yes
I say the same thing but bring his dad Lunny Sr out of retirement to help out. Bring Bobby Allen back to the sidelines. Couldn't get any worse.
is this the same Western Kentucky team that lost to Central Arkansas on August 29th of this year ? I'm guessing that Ty Story did not start or play in that game .
Here after the Texas A&M game! It got better! Thank God for Sam Pittman!
“Basketball season is starting”
We’ve been waiting since we lost to SJSU
Story came back to haunt us. Plain and simple. This should tell ALL coaches that if you have a good quarterback like Story YOOOU have to work him into a great quarterback and the first thing you do is BELIEVE in him!!!!!!!!!!!
Here after the Missouri game! Kinda similar!
Should Hicks have another chance? Whaaaat? :)
I’m watching this after Ark best TX. Just to be thankful for Sam Pittman.
I don't appreciate videos from this era popping up on my suggested videos lol
Don't underestimate WKU football! Greetings from Bowling Green, KY!
Sincerely from WKU, we thank y'all for the quarterback
Since it got rid of Chad Morris, you're welcome.
I do believe this team is done playing for this season.
I just watched his introduction speech again... What happened to that left lane ... Lol. That's all we can do is laugh
He says they are rebuilding....maybe the left lane is under construction. LOL
Trey appreciate you man! way to stay positive and try to stay away from negativity
One year later check you out!!!!!!
Here's my yearly reminder to just how bad "the worse" can be.
Anybody else here after watching Arkansas whoop #15 Texas?
Wow, what a difference a great coach makes!
im so grateful for what's happening now
One Name for replacement. Matt Rhule. Has Texas Ties and has proven to turn two programs around Temple and Baylor. He took Temple from 2-10 to 10-3 and he has taken Baylor from 1-11 to currently still undefeated....9-0. I dont know if the razorbacks could get him, but I would go after him hard!!
Saw this pop up again and came back for some good hurting. Gotta remember the bad to fully enjoy the good.
I watch this video to bring me back to reality of how low we were at one time.
in 2022, this video makes me feel so happy
i love pittman, he is someone who understands hawg sports.
glad boyd moved on to allow a better rb core to come play
Us Vol fans can relate probably more than anyone in the country. It’s tough. You want to give a coach time but you also grow impatient. Coach Pruitt has our team improving but if we don’t see significant progress next season we all know what will happen. Hang in there Arkansas
Im watching this once again just to remind myself of how well we have it now.
I am from 8 months in the future and I am sorry to say this comment has not aged well 😖…
Absolutely pathetic!!! Chad has to go!!!
I don't disagree, but this is what happens when you let the board of trustees hire a coach. Should've hired Yurachek first, and then let him make his hire.
Believe me, he's gone.
TheMrFiero56 exactly
everybody forgets houston was forced out for a reason.ole miss got rid of him too.bobby petrino's second stint at louisville was a failure.
Hearing from contacts I have in the know: Morris is going to step down as HC for a lump some and help gaining employment at another school.
2022 and it feels damn good to be a hogs fan now!
well spoken Trey !!!
Yes, I heard Morris is out and it would be announced tomorrow.
Just had this pop up on my RUclips after beating Cincinnati in our season opener🥲🥲 thank god for Sam Pittman
Same here
Me too
lol its alright trey.you do the best you can.
This is my favorite one of all time, lookimg back
I’m so glad this is behind us now! Crazy times
This is so weird now. 😂 Go Hogs! 🐗
Today we beat A&M 20-10! Huge difference Sam Pittman has made in 2 years!
Here after the Win against Mississippi State in 2021. We’re 6-3 now with a real shot to win 8 games.
Hello from the future. KJ was, in fact, the future of the program. Biddy knows. :)
Anyone hearing that they have lowered the boom on Morris already???
Robert Davis I have but until the university announces it I wouldn’t take it serious
@@asavalentine7107 yeah ..the rumor mill churns ..lol
No, but I hope they do it soon 😁
I agree he has to go ..but it is never about the coach you have ..it is ALWAYS about the coach you can get
Drove up for the game - First one since last year.
30 minutes after my post, Chad was received off his duties as Head Coach od Ark. Best of luck Chad, as I am sure you have a lot of pressure removed.
Oh how things have changed
Yup then right back to misery
...
September 12th 2020.
Arkansas at NOTRE DAME.
Early predictions?
good job Ty
Who’s here after the Tennessee game hopefully these types of walk and talks are over with I mean we gonna lose some games but let’s hope we never ever get back to these football days
Coming back and watching before the 2022 season to remind myself to be grateful for what Sam Pittman has done to rebuild from…this. Regardless of what happens in 2022.
Yeah, I thought that comment about Rakeem Boyd was ridiculous. Did he mean that Boyd was scoring too fast and wasn't controlling the ball enough? WTF?
Boyd ought to sue the coaching staff for non-support.
