This type of stuff was happening more and more in the Tulsa area. Our final straw was the mass shooting at the hospital I worked at for 5+ years, St. Francis. We just moved the family to western Colorado in a smaller town with less crime. The Bever’s house was “mysteriously” burned down, and they built a beautiful park in place of that home. I find it interesting that while interrogation rooms were designed for a specific purpose, they lack any design features for improving the quality of recorded audio. One would think there would at least be panels on the walls for reducing reverberation/echo. These recordings often get played for juries.
Drywall, panels, and whatever that carpet stuff that be on some of they walls would absorb the sound but the painted concrete is like talking to someone in the bathroom. And EVERYONE KNOWS WHEN YOUR IN THE BATHROOM ON THE PHONE 😂😂😂
Also doesn't help this kid has a severe speech impediment that should've been corrected aas a toddler/entering school.

Locked in a house. No socialization with society. No schooling or playing with other kids. They only had each other and whatever they could come up with. Imagine barely leaving your house and being around the same 8 other people day in and day out. Your computer is your window to the outside world and no one out there knows you even exist. It doesn't explain killing or planning the kill. It doesn't explain why the babies were killed too. They said the parents were abusive or maybe super strict? The mom didn't work and I think the dad worked from home. It sounds like a madhouse. Still, why kill anyone at all? The kids? So the two boys went from home prison to state prison and that was about it for them. Their big accomplishment was buying a knife and killing their family so they could exit one prison and into another. Not sure what to call them but glad they are locked away forever and ever and maybe even after that.
This mental behaviours are learned from home. Look at the parents. Lack of love and support. They are both psychopaths. Antisocial behaviour
I first heard about this story thru true crime time ASMR .. anyhow this case is really something else ... how they tricked the little brother to open the door is just wow
For those people saying he's only a kid and it's normal for 16 year Olds to butcher their entire families I disagree. Butchering your family is not normal.
No one is saying that tho

Detectives opening flawless. Well done
This is so sad. He is alone and by his own doing. The enemy just wishes to steal kill and destroy. This is what he wants for everyone no matter how great or small.
One of the most baffling things about monsters like these is how they trust each other. If you were willing to wipe out the rest of your family then clearly I'm not off limits either. It'd just turn into a last man standing situation.
obviously...being 16 is a factor
He's not a monster.. he's just a kid.
@@cashrjr23 Fair point, but a lot of adults make the same mistake.
@@awkwardautistic No, he's a demon.

I've never been so chilled to the bone in my life. I had to stop watching this. I have a fifteen year old daughter and I think of her as a child in a way. To think a person of this age was capable of participating so willingly in such an atrocity is just unbelieveable. He is so cool about all of it, devoid of emotion. It is as if he is talking about someone else. Pure, unadulterated evil. So, so scary. At least the poor innocent victims are surely resting in peace which is poor consolation to the survivors. I'm just sickened.
Liberals want to let him off with a warning
When they confess unemotionally attached that’s text book psychotic
Not evil. Not everything Is the devil lol
When i look at videos like this i bless myself. There is evil around us constantly. Be safe.
School is indoctrinating them, be careful 😀
That poor girl that survived. Can you imagine having to go thru life remembering your brothers literally trying to stab you to death and killed your whole family. Survivors guilt much? I wonder if they’ll ever speak to one another
The police officer asks how old his younger brother Christopher is and he says "uhm, nine I think" but Christopher was 6 years old when he died? How the heck can you get something like that that much wrong?
Because their father was extremely abusive so they were already crazy in the head
I've watched a few of these but this one literally made me sick. Just the callousness and matter of factness made me angry/sad that this even happened. Those poor children having to go through this. Makes me so sick!
He committed the kind of crime, killing small children for no good reason, that can make a person HATED in prison and he is only SIXTEEN YEARS OLD and a WIMP. Sure he can kill people with a GUN or kill a small child more than a decade younger but against a full grown MAN in PRISON?? I could beat the crap out of that wimpy kid. He is going to have difficulty sitting down A LOT in prison if you catch my drift....
evil little beasts - they knew what they were doing. a life for a life.
Yep
Mom gave them birth, fed & clothed them to be killed by ur babies.
Yes psychopaths plan out. They know what they are doing
The detectives did a fantastic job getting him to open up and confuse to everything that him and his brother did that night the 2 detectives must likely went out after that interrogation shaking there heads saying to each other we got them job very well done.
The fact the sister survived all her injuries is a amazing but now she has to live with this sickening night for the rest of her life she will also be in intensive counselling for years after it.
Would have been nice to hear at the very end how she and her baby sister were going and where they were now days
they just asked questions.. it was the kid that was just freely telling the story n answering questions.
I read a little about this online and they were a pretty weird family. They home schooled and never let the kids out. Michael had a blank book that he drew pictures of the murders and wrote 2 or 3 words above the pictures. The pictures and words were done with crayon and it looked like about a third grader. There wasn’t much schooling done. They said their parents just had the kids for tax deductions. The mother had seen the pictures and ignored them. The house was burned down and the lot is now a little park. It sat vacant for a couple of years. None of that is an excuse and he is calmly talking about it but it seems like a strange family. The two girls who lived were adopted by the same family. The next door neighbor took the pooch. The little two year old was sleeping in her crib so she wasn’t involved in any way. This kid is so calm and seems incapable of remorse.
Is there a movie about this?
That explains his very strange speech impediment. Can barely understand him. Prob poorly socialized and certainly never got speech therapy
Yup , thats what happens when you let religion run rampant in your family.

So does good.

It's unimaginable the level of evil some people have. Looking at them, one would never suspect what they are capable of doing. These two boys did murder without any remorse or guilt and would do it again if ever released. They will now die in prison.
He confesses as though he's ordering a cheeseburger and fries. No emotion, and matter of factly...
Wow just wow, definitely have Goosebumps especially after him detailing his own family massacre , with no emotion, and then saying it was “Pointless “.
So sad. A young man just threw his entire life away. Respect to the officers for their kind conduct.
Did he throw his life away or take other lives and threw theirs away??
I want to see the older brothers interrogation now.
I feel like in extreme cases like this there should be a team of detectives questioning the suspect so the weight of the interrogation is not only on 2 people . That’s psychologically damaging and they still have to go home to their families and function in society. They’re professionals but humans first. I couldn’t even bring myself to watch this hour long video in one sitting 😢
I wonder how he got this way. He’s cold , almost unfeeling. He just help murder his family.
It really makes no sense. He seems so disconnected. Horrifying.
He's a psychopath. They are born that was. It's genetic.
They were homeschooled in a highly religious and abusive home. They never really get a chance to live a normal life.
Extremely abusive father, homeschooling and not aloud to have any friends.. simple
There's no remorse. It sickens me. The detective picked up on that right away. Hit him at all angles. Great police work! They have the possibly of parole? Did I hear that right? They're a danger to society. He stated that they wanted to make it big and be known as the worst. This can all be avoided if they never get parole. They're time behind bars will give them ample time to plan their next attack. Our justice system is something else. Side note: I'm curious to know if the father was still a police officer at the time.
Only when can they first ask parole, after how many years? most of tine that is so high that they are very old or death by that time and they can ask it, but there is no guarantee that they ever get parole. most get refused. But I agree, change that is no parole, just life in prison without parole.
It’s an interesting debate as to whether they should be allowed to apply for parole at all. He’s only 16 & male’s brains do not fully mature until mid to late 20’s, particularly the part that deals with consequences. So the theory is that since they change & develop so much psychologically over the years & can potentially be rehabilitated during that time, that they should have a chance to get out of jail, particularly since being kept in jail for 80 years+ can be considered cruel & unusual punishment. The parole process does not guarantee that they get out, and if it worked properly, it “should” keep those who are still dangerous, in jail. But as we know, few people seem to actually be rehabilitated & many people re-offend, especially those who are long-term criminals. I think the issue is not whether they should have the chance to apply for parole, but improving the parole process to ensure that dangerous people are not released.

I can’t understand him easily enough to continue listening. The room is so echoey.
See everytime there's a mass shooter. The news talks about the shooter nothing else. We need to change that talk about the victims leave the face and name of the killer off the news.
