    I don’t know why I started watching your channel but now I’m kind of addicted. I had to come back and watch the first video to see where it all started. It almost looks like you’ve accumulated the entire tool truck through the years. It’s kinda neat to see the difference between guys that have been out of the game for a few years compared to the guys that are just started or still currently working. The amount of air tools you got compared to the younger or more current guys, everything’s battery powered now. Since watching your channel it has inspired me to start getting my stuff more organized. I’m currently setting up an old craftsman 4 drawer carry around tool box for a “90%” hand tool box. I run a welding/tree service and fix a lot of my own stuff so hand tool work good enough for me when I don’t have the welding rig on-site. I broke my chipper once and had to use a customers tools to strip it down and repair it since I didn’t have my own tools. No more of that. So thanks for making these videos.

    Love the videos, I do cringe when people say air tools are on there way out. Not a big fan of cordless power tools. Especially knowing that batteries don't last and soon you'll see them getting hacked. I do have cordless stuff but I try to always have manual, corded, and pneumatic too.

    • @ToolBoxTour
      @ToolBoxTour  Год назад +1

      Air tools certainly have their place. Cordless tools have just come such a long way, and their convenience is hard to beat. I will always choose a cordless tool first, but you can alway count on it’s air counterpart to meet your needs when the cordless just can hack it.

    I inherited my Father-in-law's tools when he passed and I am trying to figure out what a lot of his tools are. Could you possibly tell me what the red tool just to the right of the exhaust hanger remover is? He was a Diesel Mechanic and I received a Matco 6S 3 bank with hutch and cabinet full of tools along with so many other boxes and tubs of tools. Love watching the tours, I have learned alot already. I am addicted now, I just go through and clean tools and organize them.

    Damn! You have a nice collection of tools. I thought you just went around and showed other people's tools and I did not know you have this type of tool collection. Very nice man, I am just getting my tool collection going, I started kind of late in life but I am getting there slowly. I will never own Snap-On or MAC tools because I do not wrench everyday for my job. Harbor Freight is good enough for what I need and do. Thanks for sharing your own tool-box with us. Where can I find that manual impact? I could of used something like that on a job last month and I never knew they existed. On a side note, have you found that the block test fluid has a shelf life? I heard it somewhere but have not confirmed it. I was going to buy the tester and the fluid but now I am holding off on the fluid until I need it just incase it does expire and messes up the test. Have you heard anything about that?

    One of the better toolbox tours I’ve seen on RUclips.
    Good selection of specialty tools, …. which leads me to my question. As an engine builder I’ve always used Diesel wrist pins to make my stepped freeze plug drivers.
    Do you have a Snap-on # for your freeze plug driver kit?
    Only thing I’ve come across are the aluminum adapters for lip seals.
    Just hit the 👍🏻 and subscribe.
    Thanks,

      They are fantastic for the money. Since they are box end, they are plenty strong for anything I need them for. heavily debating between the tool vault and snap on 54" master series. would you say the quality is pretty on par? buddy at my job has a snap on and this thing even loaded up rolls easily and handles weight nice. just wonder why the tool vault is so cheap in comparison

    • @ToolBoxTour
      @ToolBoxTour  Месяц назад +1

      So I would compare the Toolvault to a Matco box. I have a Snap-on EPIQ and this Toolvault. I would say the Snap-on is better built and more refined. With that said, I only bought the Snap-on since it was used and a good deal. If I could go back to when I originally bought my Toolvault, I would do it again in a heart beat. For the price, I don’t think they can be beat. VERY stout boxes and I have never heard of anyone regretting the purchase of one. I recommend them every chance I get!
