And even though he doesn't always get it right, it's his earnest effort that really starts to change Belle's heart.

I believe the Beast and Guston were both terrible, but Th Beast was much worse. First the Beast imprison Belle's dad because he got lost. Belle was no threat. The Beast is very strong and he has an army of furniture. Her dad was literally about to die and the Beast literally didnt care. Instead of letting Belle dad go, the Beast rather her dad die. Belle sacrificed herself and Beast just said yes instead having a heart and letting both go. The Beast wasnt even nice to Belle and screamed at the top of his lungs her for not eating dinner with him when is imprisoned which freaking crazy. He exploded when she went to the wrong room. The Beast is super controlling, evil, and cruel. Anybody who think the Beast isnt nothing but evil is blind. The Beast cant even read and Belle favorite thing is to read. I wonder when the dad was sick and imprisoned by the Beast... he though this Beast will be the perfect husband for my daughter. This story is Ridiculous!

She didn't go to him because he was " tamable" , he kidnapped her sick father and was worried he'd die locked up in the castle, she only gave him a chance when he changed and became kind and compassionate , and loved him when she saw how much he was willing to sacrifice for her and her father. The moral of the whole damm story is that your looks only get you so far( in the case of gaston) but your personality and how you treat the others around you is what seals and completes the deal. Respect means not trying to change the other person, but being supportive enough for them that they feel free to change on their own.

Bell took her fathers place as a prisoner after the beast kidnapped him. Later he gives her a master library to bribe her compliance. The movie is better example of the dangers of stock holm syndrome.
Guston was a total narcisist but also the strongest in the village by far.
Bell was smart, beautiful, and arrogant. No one in the village was good enough. Took a literal prince to bring her on board with the idea of companionship after being his extended prisoner. She would have happily just kept reading books. No interest in anyone at all.
All of Jordans points are solid about the trials of women finding their spouse but it feels like he is reaching a bit with this movie.

What the Beast had was a mansion with books and people who were kind, full of places where she could just be by herself and he could observe her while she let him see her so she could make him feel accepted even though he was a beast. What won the curse was not money, was comprehension, reciprocal trust and the will to be heard in the noise of no words.

A loser is someone who doesn't shoot their shot.
All you have to do is ask and you immediately advance from loser, even if you miss your shot. It works both ways.
Just remember, if they were kind enough to ask respectfully, be kind enough to decline respectively, if you're truly not interested.
First, get comfortable with making requests for yourself.
Good practice is ordering from a restaurant menu with confidence. This shows YOURSELF that you understand what you want and are not afraid to ask for it.
Once you can talk to a waiter or waitress with RESPECT and CONFIDENCE, you will gain the confidence to invite someone to eat there with you.
The bottom line is the difference between a no and a yes is YOUR confidence.
The part about being generous and productive, sharing, is demonstrated by picking up the check. The person who ASKS, is expected to pick up the check.
If the person who was ASKED on the date, knows that there will not be a second date, it would be good to offer the split the check.
This is a kind way to communicate that you appreciate the opportunity but there was no connection, without having an awkward conversation about it.
If the person asks why, tell the truth using kind words, like you would give to console a sibling or friend. Be in their corner but make your intentions clear.
      Don't tolerate abuse or disrespect.
You don't have to make a scene, unless you need to because the situation has become unsafe.

Should have seen the face of his biker friends when he got baptized 😅 I understand your point tho, I really do. My whole circle was worried and made my life hell, but now they all love my husband. He is completely different from how he was judged. I just advise, don’t let a wonderful man pass by because is not the prince you dreamed. Have some courage but also discernment to see under the spell. Not always, sometimes you have just an ape in front😅, but at times you can find a prince under the beast/frog skin as you can find a beast behind the prince facade. The meaning of the story is to grow yourself to the point to be able to really see. I have great friends that are not considered by women because of the standards of today, and they are really wealthy, they just don’t advertise that. This said they are very modest, so women don’t even bother to talk to them because they have not Prince Charming visuals. Well, in reality they can buy him and his kingdom. Is sad but is true. They keep distance because got burned badly by gold diggers, and judged even worse by vane women. Is just an advice, you can just pretend you didn’t read it, but don’t you know putting work on their men is what all women do in marriage?😂

Perhaps this person tried to help a traumatized person within their relationship, but that person didn't want to be helped. Therefore, a professional is perhaps a better option, and perhaps in doing so walking away is healing for both sides. Maybe staying in that situation wouldn't allow either to grow out of trauma (past or inflicted in the relationship). My two cents.

The Beast also CHOSE to change because deep down he didn't like where he was at and in general he was aware of his flaws. He made the change because he saw Belle as worth it. He made her a priority. Belle also reciprocated. She showed appreciation for his change and encouraged him in a positive way. She helped him on his journey, the one HE chose for himself. He became a proper prince because of this and she only helped where he needed it.
