Glad to meet you David. Actually grew up in a small town...now a small city....but live in a rural area on a lake in northern Minnesota. Worked for 42 years just for one company in the iron mining industry (now a clean process called "taconite production") About 6 large plants up here...on the Mesaba Iron Range....40 million tons of pure iron pellets annually. Retired now....or...."re-tired" probably better word.
From what I have heard and seen of Texas....was very interesting to see....living there must be so neat!
Both my children were military officers....and son-in-law also. Others in family served as well.
Now grand daughter serving as USAF medical officer in San Antonio 😊 and a grandson just entered the USAF Academy. So....yes....all this crap going on all over this country....the disrespect shown for our flag for whom so many sacrificed so much in places all over the world......and now....people burning it....desecrating it...😢. And...sometimes I feel I am the only one up here. I know I am not....but nobody speaks out here...🇺🇸

He went to my school & then to the board of education.
He made them teach us the true HISTORY.

i just recently stumbled over this song and now seeing it paired with this movie made me literally burst out in tears. i lost my best friend to an ied in afghanistan and all of that just brought it back so vividly.
it’s safe to say that aaron ain’t the only one, i’m here and i’m willing to fight and bleed for this country a second time.
Thank you so much for this song. I personally needed to hear it as i am a 52 year old military veteran. It sometimes is hard to look around at what i fought for and feel alone.

Saw Aaron Lewis a couple of years ago in concert and it was great! Love his songs and I clapped and yelled out loud the first time I heard this song. It gave me the patriotic jolt I needed. I especially enjoyed the line about Springsteen. I like to sing karaoke and when I saw the jeep commercial, I immediately said, well I'll never sing one of your songs again! Then Aarron's song came out and it's as if he was telling me I'm not alone in my thinking of today's craziness!
