Let's talk media. Let's talk total cost for a second. And let's talk about printing 2x6 double strips (customers favourites). The Hiti 525 is a very good printer. Not has well sold has the DNP (I know you use this printer also) but it's up there. And just has good has the DNP 620. But the media for the 620 is high. So it's a no no for me from the start. It's lighter and print's a little faster. But customers don't care about waiting 2-3 seconds extra. When people buy a printer. They need to look at the continuation costs of the media that they will be buying for many years. Now unless you know something, and please correct me if i'm wrong. But the Hiti 525 does a total of 2000 2x6 prints per box? Where the DNP RX1 HS media (4x6) does a total of 2800 2x6 prints per box. Now I live in Sweden so I get mine from the UK (they send it via Ireland because of Brexit). So the RX1 makes sense for my end costs here. BUT... In the USA I believe that it is the opposite way. A box for the Hiti media is around less than half the cost of the DNP media. So in the USA the Hiti makes a lots of sense! I love my RX1. But the Hiti makes a lot of end cost sense!
We are unfortunately still struggling with the alignment of the cut from this printer. It doesn’t exactly cut 2x6 because it cuts a tiny portion of it off every time so the page is not align and damages one of the strips. Tried everything from printer settings, to template settings and more. It just won’t do it😕
I just recent got my hiti about 2 weeks ago. Done a total of three events and it’s worked perfectly. It’s able to handle nonstop prints. People have complimented the quality of the paper as well as the color/look of the pictures. I would definitely recommend this over any dnp. Definitely best bang for your buck especially for the media. I set it up with a macbook and it took a while to figure out how to get it working, but once it did, it worked like a charm. This video definitely helped me out with the basics 👍🏼
Nice nice got mine around the same time, I have been running into a lot of jams lately like every 3 prints. Not sure if it’s the big roller and how film feeds through.
Hi! I just bought the Hiti to run with an iPad photobooth. Issue I’m running into is it prints but the next guest it won’t print anymore unless I restart my laptop and printer. Please HELP!!! How did you get yours to work?
So I got it going 1 time by luck. Is this the process for every setup start or is there a different process once you download everything and run program after closing apps

isnt it too much info for the customer? Do you have someone else stay onsite to do all that after is delivered to the customer?

can't you use the Wi-Fi Dongle so you don't have to use a laptop??
