How to draw Knuckles step by step

In this tutorial I show you how to draw Knuckles the echidna from Sonic the hedgehog step by step. I also show you my thought process behind making this character. In this series ill be using a combination of traditional pencil and paper techniques as well as scanning the drawing and moving it to photoshop to ink and paint digitally. I also give some tips on getting smooth lines in digital art and share a few stories about playing sonic the hedgehog as a kid.
