I found that oiling my babies hair increases his cradle cap. What I did was to apply Vaseline on the cradle cap and then wash his hair . After that comb his hair with baby brush. It works like magic .
Kalyani 1004 I used to apply Vaseline directly on the scalp as oil caused more cradle cap for my baby . I let the Vaseline sit for few hours to soften the cradle cap and then wash it off with a shampoo at last comb my baby’s head with a soft brush. My baby had thick cradle cap hence Vaseline worked.

My baby cradle cap was filmy like a yellow oily with no flakes till after I washed it I put baby oil on it for a few minimum before and used as soft child tooth brush squirting baby shampoo on it and rubbing in circles rinsing each time brush and his head and it worked great 👍 so I guess there are different variations of cradle cap
