I opened a roll of quarters to do laundry 6 months ago, and it jumped out at me, something different was in this roll. It was a proof 1983, and I instantly ran home, and put it in a plastic holder from the Littleton Coin Company. I love the mirrored finish.
I'm looking at our proof 83' (found in pocket change) right now; super sweet!

I've coin searched approximately $10k in quarters over the last year. Out of that I've saved about 4 rolls or so of 83 P and D mint quarters.
Why do I keep having dreams about finding golden coins that do not exist? It almost feels real when i first wake up; lol!

I have a 1983 P that's in a little better condition than the one in this video, you can't read the part the says "In" on the obverse but the rest of the coin is nicely detailed and doesn't have very much wear on it at all it looks like. Is it worth me saving to bring to a coin collector?
Just found an 83 P w railroading and a small die Crack on the obverse and slight rotation on the die on the reverse. Not uncirculated but looks better than Fine and the wording and date are all very nice...made me smile that coin hunter smile and take photos...

I got about 8, that werr in a change jar of a relative that went on, that have been sitting since about 1985. One of them 1983 is really smushed but the coin is naked eye spotless. I don't know if it's anything too special but it looks cool cuz the letters are bubbly fat

I started checking coins and bills about 6 months ago. The 1st unusual coin I found was a dbl headed quarter, a 1981 quarter that says "IN GOD WE RUST" and a star note 1 dollar bill.
I have other coins put aside and need to purchase powerful magnifier to determine possible dbl dye coins.

About 2 years ago I went to my bank. I always ask for the Kennedy halves and Eisenhower $1 and brand new singles and $2 bills I have straight from the mint $400 in Sequence and two packs of dollar bills both also brand new. I noticed a star on the top of one of the new singles. I slid them out and wouldn't you know it. All 100 bills were star notes. All in sequence. I wonder what that'll be worth some day?
