I just picked me up one of these
I like the ideal of using the hand to thigh it on.
And really at work we don't purge nitrogen when brazing and I don't like that. Yes I'm fast at brazing but still it's not good practice.
The company I work at doesn't provide one of these so I had to get one for myself. I'll sleep better at night knowing I'm doing the best that I can for the customer.
Thanks for the videos
I'm in the same boat - gotta buy the stuff my company won't, they're old school and refuse to spend money on stuff like good vac pumps/hose kits, micron gauges, and regulators for flowing nitrogen.
Being able to get this off and on my bottles without a wrench is a great feature and I also like that it looks like it is a lot less likely to get damaged if the bottle tips over and hits the ground....all my other regulators have busted gauges. :/
Can you hold pressure with this tool to check for leaks after brazing.
Have you tested any joints using this thing?
Have a pressure tested using the regulator? Not many. I really use it for flowing Nitro at a lower pressure during brazing.
When using it to “test” can you regulate how much you wanna put in the system instead of going over 400 psi
Yes
How can I do that I have just purchased this regulator and was curious about how I was able to lower the psi on the test pressure @@cochisecounty_travels
@@boywhohadatiger you’re probably going to use your manifold set up.
@@cochisecounty_travels I’d mess up my guage set by doing this ?
