I live in Eugene and I’ve grown up around campus university of Oregon is definitely not the hype. It’s really cool but the environment. There’s lots of drugs and homeless problems so it kind of sucks. but always SCO DUCKS 🦆
I'm actually thinking about transferring to UofO in the spring, so I am curious what the campus life is like there. Are there clubs you can sign up for? Parties? What's it like?
hiii! so i actually don’t go there i was just visiting but it was so nice! (made me question my college choice tbh) the parties were fun and easy to come by and there was definitely a lot of student activity. everyone there was also super nice. hope that helps!
Hi I hope you don't mind me replying but I was wondering if you ended up transferring for the spring? I just submitted my transfer application for the fall and I'm tring to learn more about the campus and city atmosphere !
@@cindycastro3047 I decided not to. Watching a few videos and looking up the active clubs/events on campus didn't really inspire confidence. The best bet to meet people would be parties, and you can only get into those if A) you already know someone, B) you're in a frat (if male), or C) you're a woman. I just decided it wasn't worth the hassle and stuck with Portland-they've got clubs, events, night life, etc. [and UoO has a Federalist Society club, which, eww.]
I live hear so I’ve grown up around campus it’s not up to the hype. It’s really beautiful and there’s lots of fun history around the area, but we have a big homeless problem around here and drugs and smoking and honestly Eugene is not a fun environment. My family always wanted to move. We just haven’t yet.
Awesome vlog! I hope to transfer here soon 🙏🏿
