The total material cost does not include the highly skilled labor that went into creating this work of art. I learned a lot of cool ideas and tricks watching the series. The recirculating shower is great. I am looking forward to watching your new build as it progresses. After building this one, I am sure there will be some new changes or additions that will be worth watching.
It should be noted the "Grand Total" price given at the end is just the renovation cost and doesn't include the initial ambo cost l which is a bit misleading
It's actually more confusing than that. I left out the 5k worth of teak because we had that on hand and any normal person including us would never pay that much for the material. I messed that up in the video and cant edit it now without losing the video. Sorry about that mistake.
I saw your video of the walk through it is definitely nice but I wouldn't recommend all the gadgets and would most likely find myself taking a shower in nasty water LOL
We didn't go into extensive detail on a video yet. The next build that will be picked up this week will likely have a similar set up and we are going to do much more detailed videos on building the vehicle. This may be the best video regarding the set up, however it's not very helpful in explaining it. ruclips.net/video/Fwj6NFb51Z0/видео.html
Oh please do be as detailed as you can without driving yourselves nuts hahah. I’m dying to build one out even half as close to as nice as this one is ! I can’t believe how much there is to learn 🤯
Winner!!!! I knew someone smart like yourself would catch my HUGE mistake. I spent 9-12 hours learning a new editing program and installing new plugins to make this 4 min video, so I was eager to finish it. We had the teak on hand, so we didn’t have to pay for it. So that explains the discrepancy in price. Since most people aren’t that lavish in wanting to spend 5k for roof decor, 22k vs 28k is makes more sense to the average builder. I’ll make sure to point this out in the next video. Once the “train leaves the station” so to speak when the video is uploaded to RUclips, I can’t go back and make edits without removing the video and creating dead links for the subscribers. Long story short, I figured I would be explain the issue in the comments with the first bright individual who figured it out. Thanks for watching!!
Great questions! I am not the best writer.... or editor... or camera man.. but I really like your questions. We did leave some of the info intentionally vague. We want the new owner to be able to sell the vehicle without the sales price being public. It was under 100k and over 50k if that helps. William made a good chunk of change and was able to buy his new rig cash, but with all of his time invested, he honestly didn't make enough and I think he should have sold it for double what it went for. It was worth it to William. Not many people would enjoy it as much as he did considering the work, but he likes the challenge.
We're building a black knight rider truck with living space for our crime fighting team. It'll have the ramps on the back too for quick vigilante work under the cover of night.
This is still my favourite conversion. I still think about it and compare every build to it. I could live in this.
OUTSTANDING!😇

definitely needs to include the hourly rate
Yeah...if we put in an hourly rate, that would be a game changer in cost! That is an interesting idea I will see if we can track on the next build!
Agree. Its a great build. How much did it sell for?
Thank you for being authentic with us and sharing the prices. Can’t wait to see the next build. 😁
Wishing you the best on the new build!
You forgot to add in William's worth - around $8.50 an hour x man hours = a total cost of $96,750 give or take... said with a smirk
hahah exactly!
Thank you for sharing. I really hope you can document the next build like you did for this one. Really great content.
Thank you! We are planning to document the next build more extensively and with some more "how to" information.
Show is the build as much as possible! :)
What a great build you guys did. Look forward to the next one. Forgot Labor cost. 👍
Good call on the labor cost, we will definitely include that in the next build. Thanks for watching!
I was bidding on that same Ponce Inlet ambulance, glad I got out bid by you guys! Can’t wait to see what you guys come up with!
Apparently William bought it from the person who snaked it from you... Please don't tell us the low low price he likely got it for hahah
What an incredible project! The teak ceiling would be awesome if you ever flip over into the ocean.
Hahah right? sea worthy!
@@ModernGreaser I couldn’t believe how expensive it was, but beautiful and unique!
Thanks to you both for sharing. Excellent and entertaining build series. Looking forward to the next one.
Thank you, Glad you enjoyed it
I love this thing, hard to believe the next one will be better.
Wow 🤩 under 25k that’s awesome …🤙😎
Yeah, it's pretty wild. It actually came to 28k, but the teak wasn't included in the price. I messed that up making the video
I want to have a build ambulance soon!
Thank you 😊
Just curious , why did he spend so much on the roof , yes its nice but 5k ? .
Seriously. Sometimes things are just a labor of love, though.
Thanks Again For Sharing
You bet!
I just bought a 2003 Ford ambulance wish u amd William could install my solor system
i cant wait for the next build
I can't either!!! William picks it up this week!
I think I missed it, what was used to insulate the walls and ceiling? Thanks!
👍🏾

Thank you for including the cost breakdown though. It's extremely helpful
Amazing build but a lot of costs are missing. Mainly the cost of the vehicle, solar panels and hardware etc.
15k for the vehicle; it was in there.
Dam 23k Idk if I have enough skill to do this but imma try.
Hi from wales uk. How do you attach the ceiling struts. I cannot see any screws.
23k?? That’s it? I would’ve been in there for at least 35k maybe 40k.
Ok, total price already!
could you please update the links?
i love it
Thanks Abin!!! Hope your summer is good!
I saw your video of the walk through it is definitely nice but I wouldn't recommend all the gadgets and would most likely find myself taking a shower in nasty water LOL
is there a video that exists with more detail on the water recirculation tank and how the valves work on the water heater?
They made an entire walk through video after it was all done and explain in details the water recirculation system. It is an hour long video though.

That's alot😎💸
can I please please please hop on the short list for the next one for sale 🙏🏻
How did you get that total? Misc, ceiling and $15,500 vehicle cost alone are over that amount.

How much did it sell for? 40k?
What was the selling price?
Just wonderin
We've actually are trying to keep the number on the down low for the new owner's resale sake. It's above 50k but below 100k if that helps haha
@@ModernGreaser
Perfect
Thanks
My guess is around $70 -$75k which in my opinion is a great deal. The labor and expertise alone was worth $50k.
When will you release video on Doc Holiday
Love the series but um you didn’t answer the question you posed. Did he make money or lose money? A lot? a little? Was it worth it?

and people spend 4x this on a crap van with 4in clearance and a car frame
Brace yourself for the knick knacks
Something not adding up he spent 15.5k for truck and 5k for ceiling and 5k on solar that’s 25k right there 🤷🏾♂️.how u get 23k
Do you both help install solar for a person, and help them with their build?
We're building a black knight rider truck with living space for our crime fighting team. It'll have the ramps on the back too for quick vigilante work under the cover of night.
Yes!!!! The world could use a crime fighting team!!
Waaaaaay over my little budget. Starting at Ambulance cost-unless it was. 4x4. You went too fast.
