@@Mockturtlesoup1 if you "weak hit" your ability won't apply debuffs or have the advantage of critical damage. And in this game you want your abilities and damage to be as reliable as possible. Also in general they just give Void champions better skills and stats. Hope that helps.
Siphi actually used to have her A2 on a 3 turn cooldown back in 2020, but those were the times when they actually nerfed champions on the purpose of balancing the meta instead of powercreeping everything. Even her healing used to be 15% instead of 10% on each turn. Those changes back in the day actually hurt her alot now in CHimera, especially compared to Elva. I hope they can revoke this old nerf one day but I highly doubt they will.
Pythion's passive + protected buffs gives a lot of damage negation to all the team. It is so good that the ram head target can take low damage. If the ram doesn't deal enough damage, he doesn't keep attacking. It happened many times for me, my padraig was the target and never died because of the damage reduction passive + strengthen and shield. The ram doesn't reflect damage if the target isn't dead.
I've been running Duchess in 9 piece protection, and she's clutch. I'm also curious about Ankora and maybe Kaja the Wry, especially paired with Timit. He's got a great true fear mechanic in his kit.
Ankora and Kaja both lack healing from their kit : so Elva remains a better option ! Fear is useless : well maybe to clear some trials (would still use Lydia )
I tried a lot with lilitu and siphi but neither worked well for me, it didn't go beyond 30M in nightmare. Then I tried pityon just for a change and on the first try I did 140M, it's much better
I was disappointed when i got senna as my first void lego, but ive since got a 5 star soul on her and started using her almost everywhere! Absolute beast!!
Got super lucky after month today. Pulled a 6 Star Mythical Soul from a random small soul stone, sold it and got a 5 Star Duchess and 6 Star Nekmo in two big stones. Where both on my wishlist, so I guess my luck came back after month of misfortune
I love Pythion with his up to 25% damage reduction! To use Geomancer with Pythion would be awesome. What about poisons? Bring Venomage with her 100% blockheals that make more damage reduction in 3 turns with 3 turn cd. 😀

Acrizia in 9p merciless is incredible. Been using her that way in hydra and it's a night and day difference from either just lethal or just relentless.

I think Stokk the Broken is fantastic in Chimera! especially when paired with other poison and burn champions. A. Blademaster is worth a mention as well, especially when in a 6pc or more Protection Set. Just keeps on delivering shields and cleanses!
Of all the champions mentioned, I didn´t think I would´ve got any of them, and it started out just like I thought, haha! But I have Krisk and Gnut, Nekmo, and Mikage and I recently pulled my second Acrizia that I´m currently building, so I´m happy with that at least. Of courser Geo and Lydia that worked out great for me. I did pull Firrol on my mini account so that was bittersweet. Great of course to get him, but I wish it was on my main.
Dont sleep on Alaz, big damage dealer with 3 buffs in 1st form when boss is below 50% HP, 2nd form has true fear, HP burn, and increase res buff for 3 seperate trials.
I need to start pushing these champions on us in order to do this new Content..hoping the new gaming industry owners understand the concept and start dishing that to us
Does romantu work to block active skills? It specifies it only does it on targets without passives, and chimera has like 3 passives. Likewise his cooldown decrease only works if it increases the cooldown of a skill, and bosses are almost always immune to such things. He also definitely doesn't place fear.
dropped Krisk for Nekmo (leech, inc TM, dec speed) Krisk has 50/50 dec speed but misses it so much in practice btw found Duchess better than Elva both in 9P protection
my duchess tanked the ram. he only attacked her once when duelling her, when I tried others they were always battled until dead. duchess - no issue. probably something i need to check more in detail
If they fix the fear and block active from ramantu he will be great but atm with it not placing makes him sadly not as good as he could be. surprised to see that you missed arbais in the list as possible for trials and extra turn meter fill for senna with increase accuracy, she can also be good for the ram duel for with the shield she places on herself.
While i dont have most of this champions i am so glad i got Alatreon Blademaster with his protected big shield and block debuffs without needing the rare protection set. I am so glad i have him for Hydra or now the Chimera. Dont know why every CC has forgotten him already but mention every endendendgame champ many dont have. Maybe because they have so much protection gear it doesnt bother them.
I have my nekmo running in 4 piece merciless, 2 piece impulse and 2 refresh accessories. Sometimes he goes up to 3 times with his A3. The moment nekmo saw the boss he broke out of the vault on his own ^ ^
Some of the missed shoutuots: Raglin: one of the best revives, low cd, high tm and hp, she has cleanse and some healing. Holsring felt pretty good while testing, and you can put poison set on him Alaz: absolutly insane, helps with some of the hard to do challenges, block should also be bonkers on the ram. Loki: just pretty decent for challenges+survive the viper Lazarius: again just an insane champ, pref the support form for challenges, but he brings inc.crit which is again pretty hard to get Ukko: just great for challenges, same for Loriaca actually. Calamitus: first form just brings so much and he has decent surviveability Ma'shalled: leech seems to be mandotry for the ram, and again just so many challenges he can do I think people are sleeping on Supreme Kael, but i haven't tested it, but a good poisoner that brings something to the table seems hard to come by to pair with lydia. I really like the Teodor, dec speed, inc speed, poisons, poison sens, and non direct dmg tho pretty low. Zinogre looks insane too, good passive, leech, dec attack , inc speed she is the whole package, also not needed to pair with mikage. The list is already pretty long, but some of the good Sylvans: Pagraig, Claidna, Yncensa and maybe Nell I think ppl look at chimera the wrong way, wanting to do more dmg, when in reality doing challenges just gives you more reward overall, and some specific challenges, because not all of them give the same reward.
I agree with most of your picks. Raglin though needs a buff. Attack based healer. Cleanse cool down needs a reduction. Poor dark kael, i really like the champ, but i just dont think he has the dps.
@danielm6871 Yeah, the attack based healing is bad, tho might be okay great hall, faction guardians etc. The guy we theorycrafted most and tested some, is a pretty decent sized dolphin so if block buffs on viper won't turn out to be mandatory, Raglin is just better than Elva, cause the cleanse cd doesn't matter, you dont get debuffed that often. supreme Kael while lackluster on the dmg side, there is just no good poisoners out there for unm, and he brings so much to the table in terms of challenges, and one of the more exotic one at that. He is only for endgame, in my eyes (because for progression while he does lower the gear requierment, that means everyone needs to built with ress instead of acc, but then you can't land anything in other content), but he is really good for challenges if you don't have some specific mytichals.

He-man is really good on Chimera if you have a buff heavy team. Seriously , you should try him , he hits really hard (in the proper setup , the A3 can hit for like almost a million without too much difficulty and without delaying it. If you go for max stack , he hits for like 3/4 million it's hillarious) Honestly give him a try.
@peterjohansson8840 i try him in the force affinity this week, and he was already hitting for over a million with his A3 , without any delay to stack more buffs. Honestly he is a beast, probably one of the best raw damage dealer in the game
I've been using dutches, sulfurion, ninja, rathalos blade master, and dark kale. So far I've solo killed easy hydra(2key) and one keyed normal. I'm still working on getting clanmates who are actually on to do the content
Out of date, multiple teams I have gone against get 100+ Billion points with all legendary champs. They use two skill reset champions with Gnut. That is the current meta, not what Scratch is showing.
Isn't the counterattack good too with the turn meter and speed in the mix? I like to add this because when both turn meter and SPD are mentioned I don't see CC mentioning that counterattack. I am wondering why . Please help me understand this. 3months in the game and I am still a newbie at heart
do supports need to be in prot. gear? =/ or is block buffs enough to bring against stealing buffs? i understand it helps rly much them to be in prot gear, but for example like me i don't have yet enough good prot. pieces to get good build on support w my prot gear yet
@@OniONx4K Confusion here, my brain was thinking "Block debuffs" despite outright typing block buffs And yeah, Block Buffs does work for the most part, but the boss cleanses itself shifting between forms then instantly takes a turn. The shift to snake form will immediately steal your buffs before you can reapply Block Buffs If you don't mind redoing the fight, you can figure out the order of forms first, then redo the fight and stop applying buffs a few turns before the snake form
Block buffs doesn't stop the Chimera from stripping the buffs from your team though. Protected buffs however can't be stolen, hence the 9-piece protection is great on support champs
The boss is too difficult for me to have. room for pure turn meter manipulators like Nekmo or Eostrid. I need buff glance and Dec Atack. I used Tuhanarak for that (not ok your list ). Then i needed Lydia for Dec Def weaken and fear and block skill. Onr of the best champs i think. I used Gnut,not Marius,because i needed the self heal. And duchess (not complete happy with her ) And Lady Mikage. And i would like to have another damage dealer. So how should i have room fir Nekmo ?
I love my senna. I pulled her during Thor fusion and she has completely revamped my account. AMAZING champ. Formerly under the radar and please don’t call for her to be nerfed 😭
Cardiel is a god in this. I ran firol, acrizia, gnut, Elva and cardiel as my team and had a lot of success in terms of damage and getting 3-5 trials done too
Does anyone have Vizug? Haven't built Stokk yet but how does a Vizug, Uggo, Lydia, Stokk+Opardin or Cardiel team sound to you? Definitely need fresh opinions (late game account)
how can you not include Jingwon? Everything he has in his kit screams Chimera. Block active Skills, Block buffs, Cleanse, Transfer debuffs, strenghten, decrease acc, decrease crit dmg, remove CC and place block Debuffs..
Definitely not : at least on higher difficulties (ultra nightmare) ! No cleanse, no speed buff, no heals, no turn meter revive : that's a lot to lose from Elva !
opardin wont be good unless you bring a cont heal activator. that is the big difference between him and senna. senna is any heal for all ally turn meter. opardin is turn meter only on whoever has a cont heal proc, which would mean it is already that champions turn. kind of makes the tm boost useless
Incorrect. Your future turn gets boosted with Opardin. I have a screenshot where a champion has 6 Cont Heals. When they start their turn their TM boosts by 60%. They quickly take their next turn, and you can lap the boss so many times.
@jerryfox143 that's not what I remember. I remember she came out with Krixia and the ccs were freaking out about Krixia but also really were impressed with Mikages kit as well.
arnon seems op to me, i lost every single fight in live arena vs this thing. like how the hell do you deal with this fucker? he unironically soloed my whole team all by himself every single time even when i copletely obliterate the enemy he wont die then he gets instant stone skin instant nukes my whole team and then gets another turn if anything was left like wtf? i dont know a single champ that does this shit, i have higher win rate against galathir or comidus
@SkratchPlays think you need 2x Teox. And he comes with his own buffs so no need for Mikage etc. I think Nub showed the top team with 2xTeox with almost 600M dmg on UNM

I had decent luck with this on brutal, you may need more damage than Geo can do at higher levels.

I use Pheidi. Strip, block buffs, decrease speed, decrease ally cooldowns, healing on a1. He's so much fun!
Picked up senna last weekend and she's insane! 3x my damage compared to the team without her but you def need multiple reviver for viper form.

I used Oella for more healing. She also bring decrease speed and 30% turn meter fill. She helped me stay alive on unm

Odin is also very good in chimera, he helps your DPS stay alive in RAM form and can strip /do damage/debuff

Block buffs doesn't stop the Chimera from stripping the buffs from your team though. Protected buffs however can't be stolen, hence the 9-piece protection is great on support champs

Out of the 30 odd champs mentioned, I have 7. Nekmo, Ninja, Othorion, Siphi, Eostrid, Lydia and Skeletor. All Built except Skeletor.
I only have a handful too brother don't feel bad I been playing 4 years now so...and I'm not f2p I've spent alot of $ on this game sad to say

Put duchess and n resist and defense chimera can't kill mine and she Rez everyone

I love my senna. I pulled her during Thor fusion and she has completely revamped my account. AMAZING champ. Formerly under the radar and please don’t call for her to be nerfed 😭

Cardiel is a god in this. I ran firol, acrizia, gnut, Elva and cardiel as my team and had a lot of success in terms of damage and getting 3-5 trials done too
I doubt that team comp could reach 1 key UNM tbh !

Did I miss Teox, speically with all the other Lizards (Krisk, Pythion, Nekmo, even Ramantu or Sulfyrion).
Acrizia doesn't need savage or ignore defence mine ran in relentless and did the most damage out of gnut and Marius
Ramantu block active skill doesn't work on bosse as well as fear ^(

i put a random team with freyja, lydia, mikage, maud and ninja... full auto and was able to complete 10 to 13 trials. for me this was good enough

I find Duchess way better than Elva, mass revive + lots of good buffs (really strong in 9p protect) and passive that reduce damage !
Definitely not : at least on higher difficulties (ultra nightmare) !
No cleanse, no speed buff, no heals, no turn meter revive : that's a lot to lose from Elva !

opardin wont be good unless you bring a cont heal activator. that is the big difference between him and senna. senna is any heal for all ally turn meter. opardin is turn meter only on whoever has a cont heal proc, which would mean it is already that champions turn. kind of makes the tm boost useless
Agree Opardin doesn't even compare to senna in the amount of turn meter your team is getting.
Incorrect. Your future turn gets boosted with Opardin. I have a screenshot where a champion has 6 Cont Heals. When they start their turn their TM boosts by 60%. They quickly take their next turn, and you can lap the boss so many times.
Ramantu block active skills does not work! Lydia is a much much better option

@SkratchPlays think you need 2x Teox. And he comes with his own buffs so no need for Mikage etc. I think Nub showed the top team with 2xTeox with almost 600M dmg on UNM
