A masterful performance. She is so genuine and seems to put her heart into the song. And that voice! Strong, yet tender, powerful yet soothing. I still do not understand why this woman is not a superstar.

@Superpiair1 I appreciate your interest and your comment. It really has nothing to do with where she lives. It has to do with the level of recognition she has world wide. In the US, outside of those who are fans of the CMT tv show "Nashville", there are not many people who know of her. Adele, for example, is not from the US but is a world superstar. I was wondering why Ilse DeLange is not a world superstar also, because, for my musical taste, Ilse is significantly better than Adele. At any rate, I am grateful for the career of Ilse Delange and for the beauty and pleasure her immense talent has brought into my life.
I admire your gentlemanly reply to that response (and I'm pretty sure it was from a Dutch person. But I could be wrong). I don't think I would have been as kind.
@@johannaclemons9957 Thank you for your kind words. Actually, I am an American. I love and admire talent. Talent is found all over the world. I think Ilse DeLange is one of the very best I have ever heard and I have heard quite a few as I am old. I confess to having a soft spot for the Dutch as and older cousin of mine, now deceased, met a Dutch lady while in Europe in the US army in WWII and married her. Their daughter, younger than me and also my cousin, is of course half Dutch.The Netherlands is a beautiful country with a strong people of good character.
