- Join me for a look around the Naklua Fish Market to check on current seafood prices in Thailand. I'll show you several little restaurants located behind the market area that I'll have to try in the near future. Also, it looks like Lan Pho Pattaya Park is now a construction site. Not sure what's going on there, but it doesn't look like a park anymore. During my walking tour, I stopped by a restaurant called Platong Seafood 2 which has a beautiful dining area by the water. I'm certainly taking my Thai lady friends to eat at this place. Make sure ya'll don't tell Filipina Wife #2 about my upcoming dinner plans.

Great vid, I wish I knew how to cook some of their amazing seafood, filleting fish is an art. Maybe I should just buy a load and give it a go one day. This market is only 5 mins from where I live, I love all those shellfish they have on offer there.

I've always said that I understand poverty (I grew up poor) but what I don't understand is filth.
I have no doubt in my mind that the typical Thai is no more financially wealthier than the typical Filipino(a) who manage/own similar types of businesses showcased in today's vlog and, yet, as you noted, a greater effort was made by the Thais to be more sanitary by way of preserving their meats/fish and providing trash receptacles.
If a greater degree of English was spoken in Thailand I don't know that I would ever step foot in the PI again, which is a shame since I find Filipina women to be more genuinely sweeter than the Thai women.

Seafood is not called shells which you called first green mussels then also called clams shells. Excellent video showing the pricing very informative. I will be hopping over from the PI soon if you are still around I will buy you a couple drinks.

CRAYFISH as Thailand Philippines Australia do NOT have Lobsters. Also we do NOT eat small people ( Shrimp ) , we do eat PRAWNS

@@hillbillyinthephilippines303 Those are just NICK names ,, It is fairly simple to see a Lobster and a Crayfish are different , just look at the "claws" Lobsters such as the Maine Lobster and others in UK etc all have very large claws and are different animals. I always thought the Australian Crayfish was THE BEST until i had the chance to eat a Maine Lobster ,,, YUMMMM
@@tilapiadave3234 I like some maine lobster for sure these are a close second they get really big too I've seen some close to 2.5 kilo. I have a video of buying some off a fisher man on the beach in one of my older videos check it out if you get a chance

Hey Devil Dog, Sempre Fi. Do they farm a lot of the fish and shellfish that you showed at the fish market? Shellfish like crab, lobster, mussels, clams, and shrimp along with quite a few different fish are farmed and shipped here to the USA from Thailand and Viet Nam. Is that the local source also?

I work a rotation in America then back home to the Philippines. I just left Pattaya. Don't get me wrong, I love my home in the Philippines. But I can't get back to Pattaya soon enough! Best food in the world. Coldest beer and hottest ladies. Sorry to all my ate's. Girls need to step up their game to compete with Thai ladies.
