Hello My friend. Just wanted to drop a line to thank you for the time you take to put together all your content. As a 66 year old ex-film maker (specifically editor in both film and digital), I really appreciate your specific style and brand you apply to each piece. It is direct, stylized and with the occasional Chloe appearance very heartwarming and enjoyable. Just wanted to put in my two-cents. Keep up the great work. I look forward to your next addition. All the best, Tom.
I would not worry about anyone's negative comments it's obvious to see that you are a pro at what you do. I love your videos I've learned so much
Thanks ! I never worry about what others say. I know what I’m doing. If they don’t want to learn or grow, that’s ok.
Very helpful. Thank you for your informative and entertaining videos. I almost quit leather work. Until seeing your videos, now my love of leather working has grown. Thanks again.
Perfect! Thank you for that!
Thanks for another good one! When I built my stitching pony, I inlaid a couple of small neodymium magnets (1 on each arm), best thing I ever did. I can’t tell you how convenient it is to be able to just stick my needles on them.
Great idea! 👍🏼
So simple and efficient but I would have never come up with that on my own. Thanks so much (again) for the great tips. You are a leather genius! Thank you for all you do. Much appreciated.
I enjoy helping. Thanks for watching!
Man, all your videos are just pure inspiration. Thank you.

Well done. Thanks. Great shots of Chloe.
Lock it in with the chisels, that’ll come in handy some day. Thanks for the video!

@@MasconLeather thank you for all of your help. It is very much appreciated for a beginner starting out like myself.
🤘🤘
Hey thanks for your very useful videos. What kind of bone are you using. At first I thought it was an antler. Also where do you come across the metal bars? I like that method.
Thanks again!
Great Mascon production, I’ll certainly use that tip.
Perfect!! Thanks !
Great instructions!! 👍🏽
Thanks for watching!
Love it! Thank you!🙋🏼♀️
Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thanks for the tips!

I use double sided tape and bump jigs for floating pockets. Perfect combination!
👍
I like that thick piece of rubber... That's cool 👍
you are the best.My friend I have learned so much from you. TYVM

Another awesome video..❤❤
Where did you get your dies made for the sizzix cutter , thanks!

😎tips and trick, from the man the myth the legend👍Always glad to see a new video come out
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Genius
I'm impressed!😀👍🏻
Thanks !!
Great process and well shot, personally if I’m making a pocket like this, I’ll use a super skinny double sided tape on the stitch line to hold it down.
great
your Videos are SO Helpful to us beginners - I'm planning on making a couple of inexpensive wallets, then I'm on to the Alligators I killed this year for a few wallets, belts, and maybe even a card holder that you show ! THANK YOU (sucks you glued your 'Coffee')
Thanks for watching!
Nice tips and trick, I hope I can try to do this, 🎉
Thanks !!
Just had a "duh" moment. Excellent video. Thank you for this hack. One day, I'll will ge to order those bump jigs.
Yes!
🤘
why not use double-sided adhesive tape to secure in place before punching?
Uh, that wooden magnetic chisel holder is wicked awesome! Homemade?
Yes. Some scrap I had.
beautiful as always, Are you still using your Ipad for editing? what editing software are you using? Cant wait for the next lesson
Yes I am! Lumafusion
@@MasconLeather thank you sir. Keep on trucking🤘🏼
I don’t use glue no more. I use basting tape. It’s 5mm wide double sided tape and very effective.
That’s another way. Yep. It’s just not for me. 👍
@@MasconLeather you might want to consider it... after your 'Coffee' mishap LOL (J/K)
What thread are you using? I like Ritz but but I would also like a cheaper alternative for some projects.
Ritza Tiger
@@MasconLeather Thanks.
Where do you purchase your blank blue cards from
eBay
Скажите, с какой кожей вы работаете, она красивая и по виду качественная.
What if I want 3/16" 🙃 why does your bump jigs have holes? Chloe's stunt double ❤✌ Thanks for another great video!!
I get some pretty stupid questions on YT. But most are great.
Thanks for always watching and supporting!!!
@@MasconLeatherYou really should be using double sided tape, but whatever 😉✌

I will send this video to koby 😅
Why have that extra stitch-hole at the top of each side? I was trying to ask before you punched each side, but you couldn't hear me.
So the corners don’t lift or curl.
Or you can use 3mm width double-sided tape, but this could work too, i guess.
“You guess”? 😆
I don’t add tape that will stay there forever. No thanks.
@@MasconLeather What wrong with staying there forever? Use it instead of glue on the edges of pocket, it's very convenient.
@@AngryHamsterableif you’re ok with it, have at it. 😉
@@MasconLeather You could always tape, punch, then remove the tape and stitch. But this is a cool method too, and looks like it works great if you're well practiced at it
Or you can just get a really cheap roll of removable double sided tape and tape the pocket down while punching out the holes. I’ve tried your method and the leather shifted when removing the stitching chisels which happens sometimes. Tape prevents this. Just an FYI. You can get double sided tape at most leather supply or craft stores.
What do you mean, "Floating Leather Pocket?"
Did you watch it ? It’s “not glued”. Thus “floating”
It was explained in the first 30 seconds of the video

You lost me when you tossed that pocket. Anyone who tosses, flips or drops their materials that way demonstrates a lack of respect for his viewers. It’s as if “ what I’m doing is beneath me, but I’ll do you this favor”. BS
He's demonstrating the durability of his products and his mastery of the craft and sharing us some knowledge while he's at it
