Nahhhhhh. There is a difference though. Women themselves understand that it's wrong to show your chest while it's ok for men (for biological reasons). So why would it be ok to take your short of for women?
@@entertainmentseries540 And it's this mindset that makes more people hate and harass women. You're part of the issue with enforcing sexist policies. Boobs are not sexual.
Good morning. This whole world is based on double standards derived from multiple factors. It is easy to make the same compilation with males being "oppressed", but in your blue world logic is absent. Only the idea that one group is oppressing another.
the “pick me” girl thing completely blows my mind. people judge girls for almost everything on the basis of being a pick me girl, and at this point its just an excuse for women to hate on other women. the only situation where someone is being a pick me girl would be when they are actively putting down other women to appeal to men.
True but now it's hard for me to protect her she is being a model than an idol if you watch I've performance it's seems like the group is wonyoung feat yunjin and friends

As a Korean, I will tell you my experience of seeing and hearing these situations in Korea. 1. RM did not study feminism on his own, but belatedly apologized and studied women's studies when the misogynistic lyrics he wrote before the feminist craze in Korea were later pointed out by women. 2. It was male-centered communities that attacked Irene that showed the certification of tearing and burning Irene's photo cards, and female-centered communities fought them to support Irene 3. There was no reaction to Kai's stage or Solar's stage. It's not a famous case. It's the first time I've heard that Solar was criticized for this. 4. Shindong has been pointed out since his debut as an idol. After the feminist craze, shindong was also the target of the attack in a situation where he criticized the criticism of body shape that was more generous to men than to women. 5. It is true that many people pointed out Jeongyeon's body change in the beginning, but soon after learning that it was a side effect of disease and medicine, the public's atmosphere changed to friendly. 6. The reason why Dokyeom's behavior was not criticized compared to Won Young's. The broadcast where Dokyeom's behavior came out is a scene that the general public did not see well without fans looking it up on RUclips content, and Won-young's behavior was broadcast nationwide on television and became more of an issue to see the public, not fans. Fans would have thought it was cute to eat with both hands, Dokyeom and Won Young... The problem was how many non-fans joined. I support all celebrities. These are events that are not a K-pop scene or a fan issue, but a fundamental issue of the entertainment industry and the public. It's also a matter of gender discrimination, but most women are fighting sexual objectification by avoiding attacks on the same woman after encountering feminism. It's not the atmosphere where women blame women. Men who think they are threatened by feminism just insist on fighting women against women.
Thank you for clarifying on some of these. I joined kpop in the 90s and honestly it's exhausting enough keeping up with all the comebacks from so many talented artists to also keep track of all the 'scandals.'
I want to ask you since you are korean why knetz have problem with everything kpop idols do? They are humans too let them live ...try to love their work without controlling them
@@fitlife8234 I think that the existence of netizens is easy to become vicious behind anonymity in any country. However, the characteristic of Korean netizens is that Korean traditional Confucian moral standards remain, so they are considered more conservative in their privacy than foreign celebrities. They themselves do not seem to think that this is wrong because they have moral logic. I think they are trying to enjoy moral superiority through such behavior. It is also said that it is a natural price to be evaluated because celebrities earn too much money compared to what they do. There may be more reasons, but since I haven't thought deeply about this issue and I'm not an expert, I hope you think it's a short personal opinion.
As Taylor Swift once said, “A man does something, it's strategic. A woman does the same thing, it's calculated. A man is allowed to react. A woman can only overreact.”
And when a man does not meet a woman's expectations, he is unnecessary, useless and can immediately leave, because the fault is always on his side. Let's not forget that he should not speak to a random woman because he is considered a pervert and r@pist. Example? Naughty boy, who spoke to Chaewon from Le Sserafim and gave her flowers during the performance, later apologized for it because he received death threats. He promised NEVER to get CLOSE to a WOMAN AGAIN. Besides, the most hated group in kpop is BTS, so how can this only apply to women? Taylor is sometimes right, but she also often can't be objective and shows her feminist side based on what ONLY she went through.
SOLAR ripping her shirt off was just ICONIC ✨🔥 So there were a lot of comments regarding whether one should wear modestly or not. Everyone has their own opinions but forcing their opinions on others and thinking that what they think is only right is not ok! And if someone wants to wear modestly, they can. No one is stopping you🙄. And if anyone wants to wear revealing clothes, they too can! It's their own choice and freedom.
I think it should be mandatory to ban accounts on fan pages or idol account if there’s any signs of bullying. Enough is enough. I also think it’s time to start raising children in Korea with more self love. There’s so many insecurities in others that are causing kids to project those feelings as anger/physical aggression. The Glory (show) should be a prime example for change.
So true, here a corean influencer called Chingu Amiga said in Korea kids are raised with the idea that other kids are not their friends but their rivals who can take away their opportunities, so it's sad but what are we expecting of a society who thinks like Obviously I'm not generalizing but some people are a lot like that
These agencies also need to do more to protect idols. So many promise legal action if their artist is bullied but then they always end up just accepting an apology. Nothing will change until there are consequences and seeing consequences for bullying idols may make people realize bullying people in their lives isn’t ok either

You do realize the kpop industry and Korea generally have negative feelings about fat people, correct? Would you rather him lie and say she should be fat? What do you want?
something people fail to notice: everyone blamed society for the difference in treating idols, but fail not notice it isn't society, it's the FANS. irene's FANS destroyed the photo cards, irene's FANS destroyed their merch. the difference is the action taken by fans and how they influenced the opinion on others. if people see large groups of fans praise idols, then it's more likely knetz will too. likewise, if people see large groups of fans burn merchandise and act with violence, chances are, knetz will act the same way.
I don't know that knetz follow the attitude of the i-netz, I'd honestly assume they lead if anything since they live in the same country as the performers and share culture, language, etc, I'd imagine they're the first to react. But aside from all that, fans absolutely are representatives of society. WE are the society we hate living in, it's an interesting exercise to find out where our own biases have been hiding from us and where they may have been leaking out.
The difference is really the fans. In korea man still thinks that being a feminist is bad and irene has a male dominant fanbase so they gave shit to her for reading that book. But in rms case most of his fans are females who are most probably are feminists themselves so they praised him for it. It all comes down to the fans in this case not much about the idols gender
Misogyny doesn't exist in a vacuum, south korea is still INCREDIBLY sexist, and many knetz are, if not brainwashed, influenced by the social rules imposed on them. It's not an excuse, but it's important to see the bigger picture, the systemic misogyny creating these opinions, and not focus too much on individuals. If the issue isn't dealt with at the root, the weeds will keep on coming, no matter how many we pluck out. That's what I believe, at least.
So those fans ar not part of the society or react that way for the ideals of society? By example shindong once say he can be fat and is okay because he is a men. As a Korean, I will tell you my experience of seeing and hearing these situations in Korea.
1. RM did not study feminism on his own, but belatedly apologized and studied women's studies when the misogynistic lyrics he wrote before the feminist craze in Korea were later pointed out by women.
2. It was male-centered communities that attacked Irene that showed the certification of tearing and burning Irene's photo cards, and female-centered communities fought them to support Irene

And when a man does not meet a woman's expectations, he is unnecessary, useless and can immediately leave, because the fault is always on his side. Let's not forget that he should not speak to a random woman because he is considered a pervert and r@pist. Example? True fact :Dk didn't pout while eating
MEANWHILE
Neither did Wonyoung tho??
something people fail to notice: everyone blamed society for the difference in treating idols, but fail not notice it isn't society, it's the FANS. irene's FANS destroyed the photo cards, irene's FANS destroyed their merch. the difference is the action taken by fans and how they influenced the opinion on others. if people see large groups of fans praise idols, then it's more likely knetz will too. likewise, if people see large groups of fans burn merchandise and act with violence, chances are, knetz will act the same way.
@@iloloo that's very true
Women can't, so so you think society didint have nothing to do with it? We as personas that live in this world create the society itself but is mostly handle by the vast majority that is not always true to the most correct things and that is the trouble

Exactly 😂
There are two things to take away from this reel:
1. The fan demographics are extremely different. The male idols are largely supported by women, whereas the female idols are largely supported by men.
2. The double standards are majorly due to a majority in the women demographic would praise the actions of male idols (reading a feminist book, gaining weight, shirtless performance, etc.) while the majority in male fan demographic would criticise female idols for the same things male idols would do.
