Worked on my Apeman H45 trail cam. Though turning mine on “setup”, then holding both buttons and switching to “On” and back to “Setup” did the trick! Awesome Awesome Awesome!!!

Have a T45A which seemed to be functioning until I removed the memory card while the power switch was ON. After I reviewed the photos I realized that the power switch was ON so I moved the switch to OFF. Then I replaced the memory card back into the camera but the camera will not turn on. Batteries are new so I know that is not the issue. Any ideas on how to recover this camera or how to check if voltage is being delivered from the batteries to the camera? Will removing the SD card while the camera is ON, cause this to happen?

Trailcam used to be expensive before cheap versions were made by Chinese manufacturers. At that time it was not as popular as these days because it is so affordable now. I made this short video years ago and did not expect that so many people is watching this. I guess a password was needed years ago but might not be needed now unless they change the reset method.

Hello, no T85 is not resetted like this. You must put OPEN and than changing to "Password OFF" because it is not erased automaticaly. Thanks for helping. Grüße an den Rest der Welt!
Mine now refuses to turn on, setup, on, the buttons do nothing. But if i plug in the USB connector to the computer, the screen turns on and displays the DCIM screen. Im not sure how to resolve this, any ideas? Batteries are good, clearly the screen works, and i have used it regularly. This just randomly started, and nothing seems to be able to get the screen to light up

Doesn't being able to reset it defeat the purpose of the password in the first place? Someone can steal the camera and now they can reset the password.
When I made this video, I was thinking the same thing. Eventually, I think it should serve the good of the right people. For example, myself, I always hide the trail camera in a very secret spot. I think other people do the same thing. The chance of getting it stolen is rare.

Iv got a GRM trail camera (3 of them) I recently moved and got them back out and I forgot the password my blue screen looks just like yours but I’ve got a menu,play,shot, & OK buttons please help me try to refigure it back to factory settings so I can redo my password

It is not available on Amazon.us but it is available on Amazon.ca. That means this product is still alive - in fact - selling pretty well! You can write a post on the Amazon review, and ask for the support email or ask for the solution directly there. HTH.

it sort of works, but the moment I release the menu button it pushes me back to the password input again...
Then there must be another compound key to disable the password. You can try menu+other key combinations. Good luck!

So the PIN / Password did not apply to the SD card contents or the Device. Shouldn't be advertised as a security cam.
This requires the encryption of the SD card that will be far more expensive than this.
