This is more Pumpkins than any Pumpkins album 2007 onwards!

This is one of the best songs Billy Corgan ever composed ...the second part ,after instrumental interlude ,(Mary star of the sea) always blows me away🖤🖤

I got this on CD back in the old days and this is still my favorite song on the whole album.
P.S.: Jimmy Chamberlin, oh my God, what a drummer he is.

Still can't find either Zwan or any of these songs on streaming services. So thank you much for making this available.

Such a great jam. It'd be interesting to see what a second Zwan album would have been like. I really like the vibe that Zwan had but Billy went off in a different direction.

They had at least two full albums of excellent material that they'd showcased live to great effect, but which never appeared in recorded form. Much of it was better than most of what ended up on MSotS. Hopefully they appear in at least good demo form (like the Machina 2 Pumpkins songs) at some point, but this relies on Billy getting over his problems with Pajo and Paz.

I was vacationing in Mexico and we were in traffic in the outskirts of Mexico City. This song was jamming and then I saw the Zwan factory (Zwanenberg Food Group) sign and everyone in the car was lit.

Such a blast from the past. Happy to rediscover this. Saw these at Download Festival 2003. When they played Jesus, I/Mary Star of the Sea the heavens opened and the "everything feels like rain" was very true :)

One of the first CDs I wore out in my adolescence. Tore my place apart today trying to find this relic, but she gone. Thank you for uploading this banger of an album! Sounds as badass as the first time I heard it!

I love this album. Prefer it even to any Pumpkins album. Controversial perhaps but I don't care. And this song in it's entirety is the best of Billy and Jimmy. It starts as a solid happy poppy rock song and then builds tension to an operatic sonic tumultuous prog epic. Drumming is ridiculously good throughout. How can it be that good and not sound show offy?

The instrumental part sounds just like Aerial M/Papa M, which is the guitarist David Pajo's solo project.

@@danzai Think you're mixing yourself up there, Charlie. You're commenting on this song, remember - not the album? This song was not released as a single (it's long) and I doubt you can find a review of it either. Good job not being able to argue your way out of a paper bag though, poindexter.
Unwavering fan devotion! What a clown. I'm not a big fan of the album. The band and this song were actually really good, however. You, meanwhile are one of those dickheads who post laughably off-base comments on obscure songs from 20+ years ago, in a saddo attempt to annoy people who may enjoy the track.
You'll probably predictably reply that you got a rise out of me - as that's what your type always does - so I'll head you off at the pass and say thank you, I enjoyed myself handing you your ass. You can thank me if you like 😄
