- September 2020 we had a roadtrip out to Kynuna in QLD, home of the famous Blue Healer Hotel. We've driven past a few times but never called in. It's a very cool spot to spend a few hours or a few days. We checked out the history of this area and in particular the journey of Banjo Patterson. Highly recommend a stop here.

Got caught in the floods out at Winton Qld in 88 the year of expo was stuck for around 4 or 5 days The locals said they hadn't seen rain in about 5 yrs it started raining around 5 30pm the day before woke up at 6am the following morning and you couldn't get outta the town the local creek or small water crossing was running at a 100 mile an hour the current was just way too strong to attempt to cross unless you had a big high 4WD or a big high truck i was on my motorcycle so didn't have a hope unless it was towed across and put on the back of a vehicle 🚜

Visited the famous blue heeler hotel in western Qld back in 86 while travelling around Australia on my BMW Kseries RT she can get pretty warm outback especially in summer which direction are you heading im from Brisbane Queensland
