I love the idea of doing reading conferences. It is great for the students to see that we as teachers are giving them each focused attention and helping them work toward their goals. I just finished student teaching and am applying for elementary jobs for the fall. Hoping I can incorporate this next year. Fortunately, the school I student taught at hired me as a long term substitute elementary music teacher to finish the last 5 weeks of the year so I’m excited for that!
