I’ll be visiting Mexico in 13 days. I will have quesadillas and think of all of you!
Depending where you're going consider the ceviche.
Quesadillas are my favorite Mexican food.
Pakistanis all seem to love Mexican food. Several shows have been served Mexican food and it always seems to be a hit! Chinese food seems to be well loved as well. I have lived in Arizona since I was 16, and I started loving it as well. In fact I had Nacho Bell Grande (Taco Bell) for lunch. Of course I love food from all over the world as well. It's always good to widen your horizons and try things from everywhere.
Aunty, you look beautiful! It's such a quick meal to make, glad you enjoyed them.
I would not mind spending the day with her. Looks like lot's of fun.
Lived 32 years in Tucson, Arizona USA...just an hour's drive to the Mexican border. Mexican food is BIG in Tucson, or at least it was whilst I lived there until 2012. Funny thing is, I just had a chicken/cheese/green onion/jalepeno quesadilla for lunch!
I am glad there's a comparison to roti - there are soooo many dishes in the world that have a bread-like wrapping filled with all kinds of local flavors.
is that back drop real or just a picture...its so awesome and beautiful...quesadillas are awesome as well but better with sour cream to dip them in ..mexican food rocks !!
Naveed's gonna' get his cheese fix today. ;) Hehe...
Pretty easy to make.
Prepare some roti / tortillas, cook up some chicken meat with some spices, grate some cheese, then you basically put one roti / tortilla on the bottom, some cheese, some cooked/spiced chicken, probably some more cheese on top, another roti/tortilla on top of that. Grill it in a pan with some butter until the cheese melts. Flip it over, cook it a few more minutes. And it's basically done. Cheesy, melty goodness.
Plate it, let it cool a little bit, slice in quarters or 6ths or 8th, and it's ready to go... Yum!
Or you can make a plain cheese quesadilla. Or use ground beef instead of chicken, etc.
I'm having this for lunch today. Yum.
Hey guys! I hope that some day you try food from my country, Argentina 🇦🇷 😊
Around Iowa it comes with sour cream and salsa either on top or on the side so you can dip or add yourself
Same here in southern California
Love quesadilla! Easy to make even with chapatti (if you don't have tortilla. Would love to see them try Okonomyaki (Japanese cabbage pancake). You could get the ingredients from most local markets and serve with a spicy chutney
Mansoor, we also use tortillas like a roti, in the same way, we tear it up to eat other foods.
Naveed love cheese. Glad it is something Auntie can easily eat.
Aunty doesn't care where it came from, as long as it's good and she likes it lol.
Remember: "Where's the Beef?" lol
Yeah, so where's the rest, that's only part of one 😂.
Did they split it between the 3 of them. Oh my. Just a taste. @@margareteraab7725
That's Wendy's restaurant. The old gal's name was Clara.
Clara Peller.
No sour cream, salsa, or Picante?
I prefer my quesadillas made with Yellow Corn tortillas, cheese, and jalapeños. That’s it, that’s all you need, very simple and tasty.
No meat?
@@MrScottsearles yes, no meat… at all… that’s how we ate them in our ranch. Many, many, many moons ago, in a galaxy far, far away.
Typically the quesadilla is served with sour cream, salsa, and guacamole. However you get a pass since us Americans tend to make a quick pan fried quesadilla as a quick easy comfort meal.
The indigenous Mexicans had no cheese but did have squash and pumpkin.
I am hoping more of those fine people will pick up on and speak English.
But it looks too cold. Lots of the food served needs to be hotter, especially quesadillas. I'd toss it in the microwave a few seconds or so... :)
It's pointless give them different mexican dishes, they all taste exactly same
