You ALWAYS do beautiful work ❤ I do have a tip when putting a transfer on curved surfaces without getting cracks or atleast very few. Start by just cutting off an inch or so of the backing and burnishing that section of the transfer on, then cut off the next 1-2" section of the backing and burnish that section on, and so on... It definitely helps cut way down on mistake and issues (the trick is that you don't want the entire transfer touching the entire surface all at once!)
Absolutely love how you combine unrelated items & create awesomeness 😊 brilliant! Super tutorial thank you for sharing - for me I would leave off the lace.
I can't believe I just thrifted and didn't know what to do with it?? Now I've got a few ideas! Your idea was amazing! I'm just a beginner crafter, I mean beginner lol. Thank you so much
You are so creative. Thanks for the tip about using fabric to attach the lights to the underside the lamp. That’s a good idea. I’ll have to put that in my arsenal.
Always glad to see a new video from you. Shabby Chic and Cottage aren't my style at ALL, but you give me such good ideas for thrifted items I would probably have overlooked. For metallic accents, I've tried paint, Rub N Buff, and gilding wax, with mixed results, but have had really GREAT success with metallic markers.
Thank you! I really appreciate the tip about metallic markers, I haven’t tried them yet! That’s what I love about the crafting community, sharing ideas & helping each other out!
Very pretty and cute. I wish you'd not put on the lace ribbon - that dated your pretty bunt pan lamp, but not in a good way. I'm also curious how it looks with the lights you inserted, switched on.
All of the specialty products are definitely expensive but they can take a project to the next level. I struggle with deciding which ones to spend my hard earned money on, that’s for sure!
I love this lamp and will have to try and make one of my own. Thank you for showing us this amazing craft. ❤
Thank you & you’re welcome! I hope you enjoy making it your own ❤️
What a wonderful way to upcycle diverse elements into a beautiful final result, so clever!
Thank you!
This lamp is adorable!! I never would have thought of this!!!
Thank you!
