Undiscovered - Amos 1-2 - Darren Larson

This week at Imprint Church in Woodinville we continued our sermon series on the minor prophets with a look at the book of Amos.
Amos speaks about and to a people who have been living in some luxury and success for a time. However, though outwardly everything was fine, inwardly the people were living in arrogance, idolatry, self-righteousness, and materialism. So God speaks frankly through this man Amos about his disdain for their lack of righteousness, doing justice, walking humbly, and loving mercy. It was everyone for himself, and God, through Amos, confronted the people.
