Community Robot Arm

This is a short demo of the Community Robot Arm - please see www.thingiverse.com/thing:541... (Thingiverse /thing:5413032) for instructions how to build this. The demo sequence has been created using YAT (see sourceforge.net/projects/y-a-... or SourceForge /projects/y-a-terminal) driving this robot arm via the USB serial link.

exactly what im trying to achieve on my own project... did anyone tried turning this into a 3d printer? i mean having the software part for it? cause mechanics is rather easy ... if u got the boards and motors...
