It’s baking soda that absorbs smells, not baking powder. You can also try putting them outside or in a garage for a few weeks to let the smell dissipate.
I have an idea for the stinky boots! I work at a library and this is what we do when materials are returned reeking of cig smoke. Plain kitty litter. Just the regular, non-clumping, unscented, clay litter - the cheap stuff but get a big bag. Poor it over the boots in an empty storage bin (or a plastic trash bag inside a bin) and seal it up. Leave it for like a week. The clay should absorb most of the smell.
If they are real leather inside and out use saddle soap there's a bunch of tutorials on here how to use it to clean really well. That will strip it then a leather conditioner or polish to bring them back to life. Maybe replace the insole if possible
Take vinegar and put it on a rag or paper towel and set it inside each boot abs leave for few days and it will help absorb the smell. I would use leather cleaner also on the outside
I think you should keep the jeans. Maybe try them with one of your dr marten boots or even cute socks and loafers. I honestly have a few pairs of jeans that someone cropped and sewed too and I like to wear them with my dr marten boots and also with cute argyle socks and loafers. I think you might regret it if you get rid of them or exchange them. Wait a bit and see if they grow on you.
You can clean leather with special soap on a damp rag. I cleaned a pig skin suede coat I thrifted like that. Just use very mild soap for delicate silk and wool clothing.
Awwwww, the clown costume is so cute. You did such a good job! Yeah, that new VV is super crowded and small 👎🏻 I imagine it's not the most ideal place to film/vlog.
I heard that putting a banana with the smelly item inside a plastic bag for a couple of days helps getting rid of smells. Never tried it myself, so don’t know if it works 🤷🏻♀️ but worth a try maybe?

Yes I used the right one, just misspoke in the video! Unfortunately I don't have a backyard or outdoor space to leave them for that long
I really like the white sweater. Seems like it could be a wardrobe staple ☺️ cute costume too!
Activated charcoal gets rid of odor

Your Halloween getup turned out cute! Also you look good in the white sweater. It's a keeper.

Thank you!!!!! This honestly seems like the most successful solution, I will definitely give it a try!
Keep the jeans! So cute Take the hem out of the jeans for a raw edge. 👖🤩
Thank you, good idea!!
Wow your super creative and talented making the Halloween custom super cute
Thank you!!
Love that sweater!
I don't mind the length of the jeans, especially if you wear them with boots. You could also cut them into shorts.
Put the boots in a bag with coffee grinds.
That’s an excellent idea!

Thank you, I didn't consider that!!

For the jeans. I think they are cute cropped like that. “Assn” is association, though, not assassin.
That makes so much more sense idk why I thought it was assassin 😆
haha I just commented this too
Omg that jacket with the fur! You had amazing luck!
The red boots looks nice with jean skert

Thank you!! And exactly, I couldn't even think about pulling out the camera 😅
If you don’t like the cropped jeans cut them into shorts
