Part of it is commitment to the joke. You have to say it loud and laughing FIRST afterwards(a big laugh) usually makes others join in, seeing the fun you're having. I felt the same until I started doing this. Say it with confidence :)
Part of becoming a funnier person is failing at being funny. You learn what works and what doesn't and how to read people/situations better. Don't be afraid to fail, fear only holds you back.
9:26 - this person doesn't actually understand introvert vs extrovert. It's not about one being shy and the other being charismatic... Its about where you get your energy from. I'm extroverted; so I typically get my energy from being around other people. However that doesn't make me any more or less charismatic then someone who gets their energy from quite alone time with a book. You haven't changed into an extrovert or perhaps you never were an introvert... You're just more confident now.

Valid points, but it could be an editing choice to cut down on video length. Generally when Charlie presents he does it facing the camera and presenting in the literal sense - not an easy task. With this video, Ben has opted to show more of his subject John Krasinski rather than himself, and maybe the delivery suffers a little as a result. I have made that request several times. I hope he covers Ricky soon. I love how he is able to put highly-confident A-list celebrities on the spot, especially on the Golden Globes.
All about how you make people feel, information isn’t nearly as the feeling you give people. I used to see comedy as a waste of time but, it’s so important to study people with the ability to influence others and how they do it.
Becoming Charismatic is a slow burner, but Thanks to your Channel, its at the back of my mind, definitely a very important Life Skill , that no one can deny.
All these are relevant. The worst sales "pitch" anymore is the "hard sell". Striking up a conversation about anything can work. The closest to a pitch I try is asking what you're trading on... Answer questions honestly. If someone's interested, they'll get to business, so let THEM get to the business. If not, let it go. The hardest sell you could pitch won't change their mind. It helps to really know your product. People gain confidence when you actually have reason to love the thing you're selling. ;o)
Ben, it was great to hear you making a video on this channel again! At the start I was thinking if any one subbed in the past 6 months they might be confused because you didn't introduce yourself.
Great video, Ben! If I can suggest one thing, it would be to add a bit more of a pause between points. The pace is a bit exhausting as a viewer because of the lack of pauses. regarding content, it’s great as usual!
My jokes are always extensions of other people’s jokes so my peers say I’m funny which I’m really flattered by but literally, I’m nothing without other people’s material lmao
yeah thats wrong, why to please everyone, if they like you they'd be by your side if they do not let them go do not try to fake yourself, just be you with high self esteem
Soo... make fun of myself and build on other people's jokes. Got it. That's actually perfect because not only do I not need any confidence to do this, I don't even have to have my own jokes. Wow, being popular is actually pretty easy.
Honestly I already do all of this. I can, pretty much, make anyone a "friend." The only thing I do differently is I ask open and honest questions and listen carefully. These are great tips; however if the person/people or situation is serious sometimes you need to avoid humor. Overall what they say works cause it has always worked for me since I overcame being an introvert after a childhood accident.
Drop the need to feel special, focus on adding value. Build other's jokes up. Self deprecating humor is fine, but do it with jokes that you wouldn't mind others making about you. Avoid just making the joke to as a facade.
Alright alright alright! We really need a video breakdown of Matthew mcconaughey, he is on of the most fascinating charisma figure of Hollywood in my opinion and when he tells a story oh god please do a video breakdown 🙏 🙏 🙏
You know, I agree with most of this points if you're in a party or something, but when you're just chilling with some friends, dry humor can often be the best go-to, where no one feels as if they need to exert effort into every joke, and you can just bounce them back and forth without anyone even laughing or anything. It's funny, but we show that by the aforementioned doubling down. Really depends on the situation.

Henry Hill : Just... ya know... you're funny. Tommy DeVito : You mean, let me understand this cause, ya know maybe it's me, I'm a little cked up maybe, but I'm funny how, I mean funny like I'm a clown, I amuse you? I make you laugh, I'm here to ckin' amuse you? What do you mean funny, funny how? How am I funny? Henry Hill : Just... you know, how you tell the story, what? Tommy DeVito : No, no, I don't know, you said it. How do I know? You said I'm funny. How the ck am I funny, what the ck is so funny about me? Tell me, tell me what's funny! Henry Hill : [long pause] Get the ck out of here, Tommy! Tommy DeVito : [everyone laughs] Ya motherker! I almost had him, I almost had him. Ya stuttering rick ya. Frankie, was he shaking? Amazingly funny and relatable. Vulnerability and genuine emotional expression is more of what this world needs! Thanks CoC
Heyy Charlie...can you make a video on related to being a good sale person?!
Then pause the video or slow down playback speed
My jokes are always extensions of other people’s jokes so my peers say I’m funny which I’m really flattered by but literally, I’m nothing without other people’s material lmao
Well nobody says I’m funny but thats something I always do and feel small about and keep beating myself up over not having my own “original content”
Tbh I try to tell jokes to cheer people up or be liked.
Maybe perhaps I'm doing something wrong?
yeah thats wrong, why to please everyone, if they like you they'd be by your side if they do not let them go do not try to fake yourself, just be you with high self esteem
Fantastic Vibes boom! So well said man! Takes time to realize it though
@tygamerforce for me it's stories in general! I wish CoC would make more storytelling videos!
ekehernandez when you say Coc you mean Clash of clans? Or did you just misspell something else...?
@@mariusleroy8895 Charisma on Command
I recall suggesting this video last week! I feel loved!
At the end of the video it doesn't seem surprising Emily Blunt married this guy, huh
Humor is everything 😄
He's easy on the eyes too ladies. Admit it. ;)
Coach Lee the perfect combination of personality and looks 😍
"acting out your characters"
me: *laughs in dungeons and dragons*
My main man Ben, I was starting to think you were fired! Haven't seen you in a vid in a while
Soo... make fun of myself and build on other people's jokes. Got it. That's actually perfect because not only do I not need any confidence to do this, I don't even have to have my own jokes. Wow, being popular is actually pretty easy.
I already do these things and I've been told people love my stories lol. The wife is tired of them tho 😬
𝐋𝐨𝐥
Honestly I already do all of this. I can, pretty much, make anyone a "friend." The only thing I do differently is I ask open and honest questions and listen carefully. These are great tips; however if the person/people or situation is serious sometimes you need to avoid humor. Overall what they say works cause it has always worked for me since I overcame being an introvert after a childhood accident.
I laughed so many times watching this! Krasinski is so funny! 😂
I like the way ben talks better... More authentic... Learn, Charlie! 😂😂
Seems like we all need these videos.
Love your content ❤️🤧
i love the doubling down or jokes. it is so good and really makes some good inside jokes too
The way he acts out characters reminds me of David Dobrik
He looks like David aswell
You know, I agree with most of this points if you're in a party or something, but when you're just chilling with some friends, dry humor can often be the best go-to, where no one feels as if they need to exert effort into every joke, and you can just bounce them back and forth without anyone even laughing or anything. It's funny, but we show that by the aforementioned doubling down. Really depends on the situation.
Can’t say I trust a Talk show to assess if a joke was funny or not
1:43 Henry Hill : You're a pistol, you're really funny. You're really funny.
Tommy DeVito : What do you mean I'm funny?
Henry Hill : It's funny, you know. It's a good story, it's funny, you're a funny guy.
[laughs]
Tommy DeVito : What do you mean, you mean the way I talk? What?
Henry Hill : It's just, you know. You're just funny, it's... funny, you know the way you tell the story and everything.
Tommy DeVito : [it becomes quiet] Funny how? What's funny about it?
Anthony Stabile : Tommy no, you got it all wrong.
Tommy DeVito : Oh, oh, Anthony. He's a big boy, he knows what he said. What did ya say? Funny how?
Henry Hill : Jus...
Tommy DeVito : What?
I wonder about you
Bruh dont lose ur self trynna make ppl like u
„Oh doubling down on jokes, sounds a lot like improv!”
Mentions improv in the next second
Thanks a lot, l really like this video..... Great analysis, keep it up 👍🏽
Sadly, the man behind the voice of Tony the Tiger died at 64. His last words? “I don’t feel Greaaaat”
"Watch charisma on command"
You're goddamn right. Shits so helpful before a social gathering for a hermit like me!
Forget John,
HAVE YOU MET OBAMA
Not really, he doesn't hang out much outside since he's, you know, a former POTUS
Bro, plz also do videos on the charisma of historical personalities like JFK, etc thanks.
IDENTIFY THEFT IS NOT A JOKE JIM!!😡
You need to make a video on Gordon Ramsey, maybe how he commands respect or how his body language makes him fun to watch.
If you have status as Krasinski, you can make a fool out of yourself.
Otherwise, you cannot afford it. Although people might laugh, but they won't respect you.
O'SSÉIN - Master Your Mind With Me great point made
Me: *Makes a self-deprecating joke*
My friends: Hahahahaha
also my friends: so relatable :
Hahahahaha
Iam second viewer and first disliker
Self deprecating humor is what helps people tell me I am the funniest person they ever met. Literally a god send

I love this. This is a great way of keeping things light and bright in a neutral way. Focusing on empowerment of others is perfect for self help group therapy :)
