This northeastern film was shot in the backlands of Alagoas, northeastern Brazil, it tells the story of a brave country man called Colonel Mustache, owner of some land and livestock and father of two daughters, Ritinha the younger and Zefa, the older. At a certain time, the old man receives a visit from Vardo, a rascal who wants to marry his oldest daughter. Synopsis
