This music makes us feel old haha 😆 But happy to have passed! Please make sure to subscribe to our channel if you still haven’t and stay tuned for new videos! ❤️
Agree apparently this shows me I am a stickler on judging dance as someone passed fiesta w/ h but she struggles with extension so found it interesting. As when get to star 6 or pre bronze ? Or is it silver the 14 step level, just hope it doesn’t catch up to her.
Oh, okay, I see now - I clicked on your channel and it’s all in Russian, haha Our coach is Russian also (well, Ukrainian) and he says he never had to do these either when he was training and competing. А что вы катали вместо них? Какие-то другие схемы?
@@brunoandfae Stalight Waltz and Rocker Foxtrot were first for me, for a novice, then I have done Kilian, European Waltz, Tango, Blues (For me it was dance for first junior competition too.) Then we skated as novices and as juniores. Next year junior did Cha Cha Congelado, we learned it too, but we didn't take part in competition with this dance. Novice's dances repided. A lot of novice's dances repeeded. Then we have learned Argentine Tango, Quickstep, Tee Time Foxtrot. Before Lockdown we started to learned Westminster Waltz. In last year we started to skate as siniores, so we have learned Finn Step. Now we skate Midnight Blues, but we will maybee do Quickstep, Westminster Waltz and Blues too.
@@fskuniversemaker I see, and what did you guys skate before Starlight Waltz etc.? Cuz these are all higher level. What for dancers that are more beginner start with?
@@brunoandfae I went from single skating, when I was novice. So, older generation was pernovice. They did American Waltz and March. Two time younger generation danced Fiesta Tango and Foxtrot as pernovice last year. Now they have Kilian and European Waltz, but I'm not sure.
@@brunoandfae just the thought of in-person testing scares me to death, but i'm also scared of the judges nitpicking a video and the wait time for results for virtual tests seems torturous. my coach is trying to convince me to take the test for the preliminary dances but every time i think about, i feel sick. 🤢
@@jlitt2917 I totally get it. We have actually stopped testing for this exact reason. Life is already stressful enough - figure skating is supposed to help us escape from everyday stress, not bring more of it in… 🤷🏼♀️😬
Just do it if coach says your ready I always thought they were scary and now I coach them and realize I had to retry them as I didn’t understand the steps or couldn’t do one of the steps so it scared me away from it but now it seems more simple in a way. Shockingly love coaching them.

Baddies...I'm teaching my adult lady the same Ice dance test level. We use your Vids as examples !!!
As good examples, I hope? 😅😂
@@brunoandfae very good examples. Next vid...do Tango Romantica and Golden Waltz.
@@michaelglenn367 ahaha, I wish! We appreciate your confidence in us, but we’re still working on Hickory and Ten Fox :)

I'm six year icedancer, but I never danced these patterns. Younger generation yes, but not I.🤷🏼♂️

Did you take these tests in person or virtually? Have you done both? If so, which way is scarier?
Virtually! It’s personal and different for everyone I think, but for us in-person is definitely way too scary!!!
