Carl Sitter, Medal of Honor, Korean War

On November 29-30, 1950, Captain Carl Sitter directed his surrounded force in a breakout, then led them to relieve a besieged unit at the Chosin Reservoir, North Korea. Sitter was awarded the Medal of Honor by President Truman on October 29, 1951.
