- Welcome to the first ever episode of 'On The Beat' with The Gardiner Brothers!
In this vlog series, we hope to bring you 'on the beat' with us as we dance our way around the world! We are going to be showing you all of the behind the scenes footage from our travels, shows, video shoots and much more so stay tuned for some exciting content! We can't wait to bring you all on our dancing journey with us!
Episode 1 is focused on our experience of competing on Virgin Medias brand new TV show called 'The Big Deal'. In June of 2021 we entered the competition which was being filmed in the 3 Arena in Dublin, Ireland. We wont give too much away in this description, but we hope you enjoy following along on the experience with us!

@@gardinerbrothers hi my name is Tammy Garcia I follow people here because of my heart condition and had one surgery at 3 years old to repair a hole in my heart val they have between two heart speacalist I am well taken care of but I have been on the slow my health condition is what keeps me from getting and doing things I like to do if it's someone I want to see in concert I watch it on here if I can't make them but always wishes to certain artist but I can wish and it comes true is all I can do.and hope you two have the best time touring and tap dancing ok

I would love to meet the two of you. As a retired Irish Dancer, sadly against my will, it's always a joy watching other dancers doing what they love. You guys have brought me soooo much joy and remind me why I love the sport. Can't wait to see more of you guys!

Dang. Really? You sound like my brother, the Holy one. You know that one can actually use foul language with a certain amount of safety here in RUclips. "Damn" over "dang" would not get one in trouble with Google censors. You couid even use something like oh, I don't know, "fucking A" for that devastating timed-just-right emphasis. 🤪🤡🤣🤓😆 There was a study done a while back, at Princeton I believe, showing that people who don't cuss/swear/use dirty language are actually not as smart as those who pop off an F bomb or other choice "expletive deleted" occasionally (like my clever reference to the Watergate scandal and Nixon's tape transcripts where his filthy languages was deleted. See? Even presidents cuss up storms.) I use obscenities for emphasis. It's not good all the time, you know, like every other word, but pepper your speech with a few shits, fucks, cocksuckers and god damn its. There are plenty of obscenities out there to choose from! Just here and there. Ahhh, the English language is a rich language.

In another video Matthew or Michael explained their shoes are leather, I believe. The tape down & around is to keep their shoes tight on their feet. You know how shoes will give a little when you walk? Given what they do is so fast paced and intricate, you would not be wanting your shoes to come off or cause you to roll your ankles or trip. Hope I explained ok.
You two sound like it's all new to you. But you're famous and well known around the world. You're the greatest. We love you!

Awe I miss Ireland so much. When my best friend and I went to Ireland and we were so lucky to stay a month. The first day we were we went to see the dancers in Donegal, we were hooked. I loved everything Irish. The people were so nice and warm. You don't get that from my neck of the woods. People don't even look you in the eyes. When I say that were nice, I mean they were nice. I want to go back before I die for sure. England 🇬🇧 was another place that I fell in love with. Please keep the videos coming. Love you guys

LOVE WATCHING YOU BOYS DANCE! I’m a 76 yr old Gramma in San Antonio, Texas. Irish on my Mom’s side! My grandfather is from Belfast and my Gram from Abbeyknockmoy…not far from you! I spent 3 weeks in Ireland about 25 yrs ago. When the world was a different place. I loved Galway! Loved the whole West Coast! Dublin was interesting but busy, too much like a big city. Galway was charming and we loved the way the traffic was corded off at night and it became a safe place for walking. We got to see our family farm still owned by cousins in Abbeyknockmoy. So beautiful! I had plans to take my granddaughter back but Covid came! So our dreams of traveling have not materialized. It makes me sad. But watching you two lifts my heart! I grew up watching dance in theaters, in movies, and on TV. I love tap! Fred Astaire, Gregory Hines as a child danced with his Dad and brother in an act called Heinz, Heinz, and Dad. I have tried to find clips of them to no avail. Have you watched all of Fred Astaire’s movies? They are WONDERFUL! Some dancing scenes are just worth watching over and over and over!!! Gene Kelly, Donald O’Connor, too. Some of the really old ones I can’t remember! My Dad did soft shoe! He was darn good, too! Well, I have subscribed to your channel so I will be watching more! Best to you always!!! Robin 🌹Oh! How could I forget? When I was young My grandfather played the fiddle for an Irish dance school. Us kids would go along and watch the kids dance. I wonder why they didn’t enroll us!??!
